ΑΝΑΓΝΩΣΗ

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 34-42

5:34	Αλλά κάποιος στο συμβούλιο, ένας Φαρισαίος ονόματι Γαμαλιήλ, ένας δάσκαλος του νόμου που τιμάται από όλο τον λαό, σηκώθηκε και διέταξε να βγάλουν τους άνδρες έξω για λίγο.
5:35	Και τους είπε: «Άνδρες του Ισραήλ, θα πρέπει να είστε προσεκτικοί στις προθέσεις σας για αυτούς τους άνδρες.
5:36	Για πριν από αυτές τις μέρες, Ο Θεύδας προχώρησε, ισχυρίζεται ότι είναι κάποιος, και αρκετοί άνδρες, τετρακόσια περίπου, ενώθηκε μαζί του. Όμως σκοτώθηκε, και όλοι όσοι πίστεψαν σε αυτόν σκορπίστηκαν, και μειώθηκαν σε τίποτα.
5:37	Μετά από αυτό, Ο Ιούδας ο Γαλιλαίος προχώρησε, τις ημέρες των εγγραφών, και έστρεψε τους ανθρώπους προς τον εαυτό του. Αλλά και αυτός χάθηκε, και όλοι τους, όσοι είχαν ενωθεί μαζί του, διασκορπίστηκαν.
5:38	Και τώρα επομένως, Σου λέω, αποσυρθείτε από αυτούς τους άνδρες και αφήστε τους ήσυχους. Διότι αν αυτή η συμβουλή ή το έργο είναι ανθρώπων, θα σπάσει.
5:39	Κι όμως αληθινά, αν είναι του Θεού, δεν θα μπορέσεις να το σπάσεις, και ίσως βρεθείτε ότι πολεμήσατε εναντίον του Θεού». Και συμφώνησαν μαζί του.
5:40	Και καλώντας τους Αποστόλους, έχοντας τους νικήσει, τους προειδοποίησαν να μην μιλούν καθόλου στο όνομα του Ιησού. Και τους απέλυσαν.
5:41	Και μάλιστα, βγήκαν από την παρουσία του συμβουλίου, χαίρονται που θεωρήθηκαν άξιοι να υποστούν προσβολή για λογαριασμό του ονόματος του Ιησού.
5:42	Και κάθε μέρα, στο ναό και ανάμεσα στα σπίτια, δεν έπαψαν να διδάσκουν και να ευαγγελίζουν τον Χριστό Ιησού.

The Holy Gospel According to John 6: 1-15

6:1	Μετά από αυτά τα πράγματα, Jesus traveled across the sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
6:2	And a great multitude was following him, for they saw the signs that he was accomplishing toward those who were infirm.
6:3	Επομένως, Jesus went onto a mountain, and he sat down there with his disciples.
6:4	Now the Passover, the feast day of the Jews, was near.
6:5	Και έτσι, when Jesus had lifted up his eyes and had seen that a very great multitude came to him, he said to Philip, “From where should we buy bread, so that these may eat?”
6:6	But he said this to test him. For he himself knew what he would do.
6:7	Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii of bread would not be sufficient for each of them to receive even a little.”
6:8	One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, του είπε:
6:9	“There is a certain boy here, who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are these among so many?”
6:10	Then Jesus said, “Have the men sit down to eat.” Now, there was much grass in that place. And so the men, in number about five thousand, sat down to eat.
6:11	Επομένως, Jesus took the bread, and when he had given thanks, he distributed it to those who were sitting down to eat; similarly also, from the fish, as much as they wanted.
6:12	Επειτα, when they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather the fragments that are left over, lest they be lost.”
6:13	And so they gathered, and they filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which were left over from those who had eaten.
6:14	Επομένως, those men, when they had seen that Jesus had accomplished a sign, αυτοι ειπαν, “Truly, this one is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
6:15	Και έτσι, when he realized that they were going to come and take him away and make him king, Jesus fled back to the mountain, by himself alone.
