Corintios 1: 1-9

1:1 Pablo, llamado como Apóstol de Jesucristo por la voluntad de Dios; y Sóstenes, un hermano:

1:2 a la Iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, a los santificados en Cristo Jesús, llamados a ser santos con todos los que invocan el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo en todo lugar suyo y nuestro.

1:3 Gracia y paz a vosotros de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

1:4 Doy gracias a mi Dios continuamente por vosotros por la gracia de Dios que os ha sido dada en Cristo Jesús.

1:5 por esa gracia, en todas las cosas, te has enriquecido en él, en toda palabra y en todo conocimiento.

1:6 Y entonces, el testimonio de Cristo se ha fortalecido en vosotros.

1:7 De este modo, nada te falta en ninguna gracia, en espera de la revelación de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

1:8 Y el, también, te fortalecerá, incluso hasta el final, sin culpa, hasta el día de la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

1:9 Dios es fiel. A través de él, habéis sido llamados a la comunión de su Hijo, Jesucristo nuestro Señor.

El Santo Evangelio Según Mateo 24: 42-51

24:42	Por lo tanto, estar atentos. For you do not know at what hour your Lord will return.
24:43	But know this: if only the father of the family knew at what hour the thief would arrive, he would certainly keep vigil and not permit his house to be broken into.
24:44	Por esta razón, you also must be prepared, for you do not know at what hour the Son of man will return.
24:45	Considera esto: who is a faithful and prudent servant, who has been appointed by his lord over his family, to give them their portion in due time?
24:46	Blessed is that servant, si, when his lord has arrived, he shall find him doing so.
24:47	amén te digo, he shall appoint him over all of his goods.
24:48	But if that evil servant has said in his heart, ‘My lord has been delayed in returning,'
24:49	y entonces, he begins to strike his fellow servants, and he eats and drinks with the inebriated:
24:50	then the lord of that servant will arrive on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know.
24:51	And he shall separate him, and he shall place his portion with the hypocrites, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
