The First Letter of Peter 5: 1-4

5:1	Por lo tanto, Ruego a los ancianos que están entre vosotros, como quien es también anciano y testigo de la Pasión de Cristo, quien también participa en esa gloria que ha de ser revelada en el futuro:
5:2	apacentad el rebaño de Dios que está entre vosotros, proveyéndolo, no como requisito, pero de buena gana, de acuerdo con Dios, y no por el bien de la ganancia contaminada, pero libremente,
5:3	no para dominar por medio del estado clerical, sino para ser formados en un rebaño de corazón.
5:4	Y cuando el Caudillo de los pastores haya aparecido, obtendrás una corona inmarcesible de gloria.

El Santo Evangelio Según Mateo 16: 13-19

16:13	Then Jesus went into parts of Caesarea Philippi. And he questioned his disciples, dicho, “Who do men say that the Son of man is?”
16:14	y dijeron, “Some say John the Baptist, and others say Elijah, still others say Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
16:15	Jesus said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16:16	Simon Peter responded by saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
16:17	y en respuesta, Jesus said to him: "Bendito seas, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father, quien esta en el cielo.
16:18	And I say to you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.
16:19	And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound, even in heaven. And whatever you shall release on earth shall be released, even in heaven.”
