The Acts of the Apostles 18: 23-28

18:23 Y habiendo pasado algún tiempo allí, el partió, y caminó en orden por la región de Galacia y Frigia, fortaleciendo a todos los discípulos.

18:24 Ahora un cierto judío llamado Apolo, nacido en Alejandría, un hombre elocuente que era poderoso con las Escrituras, llegó a Éfeso.

18:25 Fue instruido en el Camino del Señor. Y siendo ferviente en espíritu, hablaba y enseñaba las cosas que son de Jesús, pero conociendo solamente el bautismo de Juan.

18:26 Y entonces, comenzó a actuar fielmente en la sinagoga. Y cuando Priscila y Aquila lo oyeron, lo llevaron aparte y le explicaron más a fondo el Camino del Señor.

18:27 Entonces, ya que quería ir a Acaya, los hermanos escribieron una exhortación a los discípulos, para que lo acepten. Y cuando hubo llegado, mantuvo muchas discusiones con aquellos que habían creído.

18:28 Porque con vehemencia y públicamente reprochaba a los judíos, al revelar a través de las Escrituras que Jesús es el Cristo.

The Holy Gospel According to John 16: 23-28

16:23 Y, en ese dia, you will not petition me for anything. Amén, amen, te digo, if you ask the Father for anything in my name, he will give it to you.

16:24 Until now, you have not requested anything in my name. Ask, and you shall receive, so that your joy may be full.

16:25 I have spoken these things to you in proverbs. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in proverbs; en cambio, I will announce to you plainly from the Father.

16:26 En ese dia, you shall ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you.

16:27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and because you have believed that I went forth from God.

16:28 I went forth from the Father, and I have come into the world. Next I am leaving the world, and I am going to the Father.”
