Sirac 51: 12- 20

51:12 Porque rescatas a los que perseveran por ti, Oh Señor, y los librarás de las manos de los gentiles.

51:13 Tú exaltaste mi morada sobre la tierra, y supliqué que la muerte pasara.

51:14 Invoqué al Señor, el padre de mi señor, para que no me abandonara en el día de mi tribulación, ni en el tiempo de la arrogancia sin asistencia.

51:15 Alabaré tu nombre sin cesar, y lo alabaré con acción de gracias, porque mi oración fue escuchada.

51:16 Y me libraste de la perdición, y me rescataste del tiempo de la iniquidad.

51:17 Debido a esto, Te daré gracias y te alabaré, y bendeciré el nombre del Señor.

51:18 Cuando aún era joven, antes de desviarme, Busqué sabiduría abiertamente en mi oración.

51:19 Pregunte por ella ante el templo, e incluso hasta el final, voy a preguntar por ella. Y ella floreció como una uva recién madura.

51:20 Mi corazón se regocijó en ella. Mis pies caminaron en el camino correcto. desde mi juventud, la perseguí.

El Santo Evangelio Según Marcos 11: 27-33

11:27	And they went again to Jerusalem. And when he was walking in the temple, the leaders of the priests, and the scribes, and the elders approached him.
11:28	And they said to him: “By what authority do you do these things? And who has given you this authority, so that you would do these things?”
11:29	But in response, Jesus said to them: “I also will ask you one word, and if you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
11:30	The baptism of John: was it from heaven or from men? Answer me.”
11:31	But they discussed it among themselves, dicho: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?'
11:32	If we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the people. For they all hold that John was a true prophet.”
11:33	And answering, they said to Jesus, “We do not know.” And in response, Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
