Lugemine

Jesaja 55: 10-11

55:10	And in the same manner as rain and snow descend from heaven, and no longer return there, but soak the earth, and water it, and cause it to bloom and to provide seed to the sower and bread to the hungry,
55:11	so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

Püha evangeelium Matteuse järgi 6: 7-15

6:7	Ja palvetades, ära vali palju sõnu, nagu paganad teevad. Sest nad arvavad, et nende liigsete sõnade tõttu võidakse neid tähele panna.
6:8	Seetõttu, ärge otsustage neid jäljendada. Sest teie Isa teab, mis teie vajadused võivad olla, isegi enne, kui sa temalt küsid.
6:9	Seetõttu, sa palveta sel viisil: Meie Isa, kes on taevas: Teie nimi olgu püha.
6:10	Tulgu teie kuningriik. Saagu teie tahe teoks, nagu taevas, nii ka maa peal.
6:11	Anna meile täna meie elu hoidvat leiba.
6:12	Ja anna meile andeks meie võlad, nagu me andestame ka oma võlglastele.
6:13	Ja ärge juhtige meid kiusatusse. Kuid vabasta meid kurjast. Aamen.

6:15	Aga kui te ei andesta meestele, ega teie Isa teile teie patte andeks ei anna.
