17:3	Abram fell prone on his face.
17:4	And God said to him: “I AM, and my covenant is with you, and you will be the father of many nations.
17:5	No longer will your name be called Abram. But you will be called Abraham, for I have established you as the father of many nations.
17:6	And I will cause you to increase very greatly, and I will set you among the nations, and kings will come forth from you.
17:7	And I will establish my covenant between me and you, and with your offspring after you in their generations, by a perpetual covenant: to be God to you and to your offspring after you.
17:8	And I will give to you and to your offspring, the land of your sojourn, all the land of Canaan, as an eternal possession, and I will be their God.”
17:9	Again God said to Abraham: “And you therefore shall keep my covenant, and your offspring after you in their generations.

8:51	Amém, Amém, Eu te digo, se alguém tiver mantido minha palavra, ele não verá a morte por toda a eternidade.”
8:52	Portanto, os judeus disseram: “Agora sabemos que você tem um demônio. Abraão está morto, e os profetas; e ainda assim você diz, 'Se alguém tiver mantido minha palavra, ele não provará a morte por toda a eternidade.’
8:53	Você é maior que nosso pai Abraão, quem está morto? E os profetas estão mortos. Então, quem você se faz ser?”
8:54	Jesus respondeu: “Se eu me glorificar, minha glória não é nada. É meu Pai quem me glorifica. E você diz sobre ele que ele é seu Deus.
8:55	E ainda assim você não o conheceu. Mas eu o conheço. E se eu dissesse que não o conheço, então eu seria como você, um mentiroso. Mas eu o conheço, e eu mantenho sua palavra.
8:56	Abraão, seu pai, regozijou-se que ele poderia ver o meu dia; ele viu e ficou feliz.”
8:57	E então os judeus lhe disseram, “Você ainda não completou cinquenta anos, e você viu Abraão?”
8:58	Jesus disse-lhes, "Amém, Amém, Eu te digo, antes de Abraão ser feito, Eu sou."
8:59	Portanto, eles pegaram pedras para atirar nele. Mas Jesus se escondeu, e ele saiu do templo.
