ΑΝΑΓΝΩΣΗ

Ιερεμίας 1: 1, 4-10

1:1 The words of Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin.

11:4 Και ο λόγος του Κυρίου ήρθε σε μένα, ρητό: 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. And before you went forth from the womb, I sanctified you. And I made you a prophet to the nations.”

1:6 Και είπα: "Αλίμονο, Αλίμονο, Αλίμονο, Κύριος ο Θεός! Βλέπω, I do not know how to speak, for I am a boy.”

1:7 Και ο Κύριος μου είπε: “Do not choose to say, ‘I am a boy.’ For you shall go forth to everyone to whom I will send you. And you shall speak all that I will command you.

1:8 You should not be afraid before their face. Γιατί είμαι μαζί σου, so that I may deliver you,"λέει ο Κύριος.

1:9 And the Lord put forth his hand, and he touched my mouth. Και ο Κύριος μου είπε: "Βλέπω, Έχω βάλει τα λόγια μου στο στόμα σου.

1:10 Βλέπω, today I have appointed you over nations and over kingdoms, so that you may root up, and pull down, and destroy, and scatter, and so that you may build and plant.”

Λουκ 13: 1-9

13:1	And there were present, at that very time, some who were reporting about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices.
13:2	Και ανταποκρίνεται, τους είπε: “Do you think that these Galileans must have sinned more than all other Galileans, because they suffered so much?
13:3	Οχι, I tell you. But unless you repent, you will all perish similarly.
13:4	And those eighteen upon whom the tower of Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they also were greater transgressors than all the men living in Jerusalem?
13:5	Οχι, I tell you. But if you do not repent, you will all perish similarly.”
13:6	And he also told this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree, which was planted in his vineyard. And he came seeking fruit on it, but found none.
13:7	Then he said to the cultivator of the vineyard: 'Βλέπω, for these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I have found none. Επομένως, cut it down. For why should it even occupy the land?''
13:8	Αλλά ως απάντηση, he said to him: 'Αρχοντας, let it be for this year also, during which time I will dig around it and add fertilizer.
13:9	Και, πράγματι, it should bear fruit. But if not, in the future, you shall cut it down.’ ”
