Lectura

The Acts of Apostles 4: 23-31

4:23	Entonces, habiendo sido liberado, se fueron a lo suyo, y contaron todo lo que les habían dicho los jefes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos.
4:24	Y cuando lo hubieron oído, de común acuerdo, alzaron su voz a Dios, y dijeron: "Caballero, tú eres el que hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos,
4:25	OMS, por el Espíritu Santo, por boca de nuestro padre David, tu siervo, dicho: “¿Por qué los gentiles han estado furiosos, y por qué la gente ha estado pensando en tonterías?
4:26	Los reyes de la tierra se han levantado, y los líderes se han unido como uno solo, contra el Señor y contra su Cristo.
4:27	Por verdaderamente Herodes y Poncio Pilato, con los gentiles y el pueblo de Israel, se juntaron en esta ciudad contra tu santo siervo Jesús, a quien ungiste
4:28	para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo habían decretado que se hiciera.
4:29	Y ahora, Oh Señor, mira sus amenazas, y concede a tus siervos que hablen tu palabra con toda confianza,
4:30	extendiendo tu mano en curas y señales y milagros, que se haga por el nombre de tu santo Hijo, Jesús."
4:31	Y cuando hubieron orado, el lugar en que estaban reunidos fue movido. Y todos fueron llenos del Espíritu Santo. Y hablaban la Palabra de Dios con confianza.

The Holy Gospel According to John 3: 1-8

3:1	Now there was a man among the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews.
3:2	He went to Jesus at night, y le dijo: “Rabbi, we know that you have arrived as a teacher from God. For no one would be able to accomplish these signs, which you accomplish, unless God were with him.”
3:3	Jesus responded and said to him, "Amén, amen, te digo, unless one has been reborn anew, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.”
3:4	Nicodemus said to him: “How could a man be born when he is old? Seguramente, he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be reborn?”
3:5	Jesus responded: "Amén, amen, te digo, unless one has been reborn by water and the Holy Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6	What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7	You should not be amazed that I said to you: You must be born anew.
3:8	The Spirit inspires where he wills. And you hear his voice, but you do not know where he comes from, or where he is going. So it is with all who are born of the Spirit.”
