The First Book of Samuel 1: 24-28

1:24 अनि तिनले उसलाई दूध छुटाइसकेपछि, उनले उसलाई आफ्नो साथमा ल्याइन्, तीन बाछो संगै, र तीन नापको पीठो, र रक्सीको सानो बोतल, अनि तिनले तिनलाई शीलोमा परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा लैजाइन्. तर केटा अझै सानै थियो.

1:25 अनि तिनीहरूले एउटा बाछोलाई मारिदिए, अनि तिनीहरूले केटालाई एलीलाई दिए.

1:26 र हन्नाले भनिन्: "म तपाईंसँग प्रार्थना गर्छु, मेरो भगवान, जसरी तिम्रो आत्मा जीवित छ, मेरो भगवान: म त्यो महिला हुँ, जो यहाँ तिम्रो अगाडि उभिएको थियो, प्रभुलाई प्रार्थना गर्दै.

1:27 मैले यो बच्चाको लागि प्रार्थना गरें, र प्रभुले मलाई मेरो बिन्ती दिनुभयो, जुन मैले उहाँलाई सोधेँ.

1:28 यस कारणले, मैले उसलाई पनि प्रभुमा ऋण दिएको छु, सबै दिनको लागि जब उसलाई परमप्रभुमा ऋण दिइनेछ।" अनि तिनीहरूले त्यस ठाउँमा परमप्रभुको आराधना गरे. र हन्नाले प्रार्थना गरिन्, र उनले भनिन्:

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 1: 46-56

1:46	And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord.
1:47	And my spirit leaps for joy in God my Saviour.
1:48	For he has looked with favor on the humility of his handmaid. For behold, from this time, all generations shall call me blessed.
1:49	For he who is great has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
1:50	And his mercy is from generation to generations for those who fear him.
1:51	He has accomplished powerful deeds with his arm. He has scattered the arrogant in the intentions of their heart.
1:52	He has deposed the powerful from their seat, and he has exalted the humble.
1:53	He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.
1:54	He has taken up his servant Israel, mindful of his mercy,
1:55	just as he spoke to our fathers: to Abraham and to his offspring forever.”
1:56	Then Mary stayed with her for about three months. And she returned to her own house.
