First Book of Kings 12: 26-32; 13: 33-34

12:26	UJerobowamu wathi enhliziyweni yakhe: “Manje umbuso uzobuyela endlini kaDavide,
12:27	uma laba bantu bekhuphuka ukuyonikela imihlatshelo endlini kaJehova eJerusalema. Futhi inhliziyo yalaba bantu iyophendukela enkosini yabo uRehobowamu, inkosi yakwaJuda, njalo bazangibulala, futhi nibuyele kuye.”
12:28	Nokuklama icebo, wenza amathole amabili egolide. Wathi kubo: “Ningabe nisakhetha ukukhuphukela eJerusalema. Bheka, laba bangonkulunkulu bakho, Israyeli, owanikhipha ezweni laseGibithe!”
12:29	Wamisa enye eBethele, nenye kwaDan.
12:30	Leli zwi laba yithuba lesono. Ngoba abantu bahamba bayokhonza ithole, kuze kufike kuDan.
12:31	Wenza nezindawo eziphakemeyo, futhi wenza abapristi ngabantu abaphansi kakhulu, ababengesibo abantwana bakwaLevi.
12:32	Futhi wamisa usuku onesizotha ngenyanga yesishiyagalombili, ngosuku lweshumi nanhlanu lwenyanga, ngokulingisa umkhosi owawugujwa kwaJuda. Futhi enyukela e-altare, wenza okufanayo eBethel, waze wahlabela amathole, ayekwenzile. Futhi eBethel, wamisa abapristi bezindawo eziphakemeyo, ayekwenzile.
12:33	Futhi wenyukela e-altare, ayivusa eBethele, ngosuku lweshumi nanhlanu lwenyanga yesishiyagalombili, usuku ayelunqumile enhliziyweni yakhe. Futhi wenza solemnity kubantwana bakwa-Israyeli, wakhuphukela e-altare, ukuze ashise impepho.

13:33	Emva kwala mazwi, UJerobowamu akabuyanga endleleni yakhe embi kakhulu. Kunalokho, ngokuphambene, wenza abapristi bezindawo eziphakemeyo bevela kwabancinyane ebantwini. Noma ubani owayezimisele, wagcwalisa isandla sakhe, waba ngumpristi wezindawo eziphakemeyo.
13:34	Futhi ngenxa yalesi sizathu, indlu kaJerobowamu yona, futhi yasishulwa, wasusulwa ebusweni bomhlaba.

Maka 8: 1-10

8:1	Ngalezo zinsuku, futhi, when there was a great crowd, and they did not have anything to eat, ebizela ndawonye abafundi bakhe, wathi kubo:
8:2	“I have compassion for the multitude, ngoba, bheka, they have persevered with me now for three days, futhi kabalakho ukudla.
8:3	And if I were to send them away fasting to their home, they might faint on the way.” For some of them came from far away.
8:4	And his disciples answered him, “From where would anyone be able to obtain enough bread for them in the wilderness?”
