Ukufunda

Genesis 21: 5, 8- 20

21:5 lapho eneminyaka eyikhulu ubudala. Ngempela, kulesi sigaba sempilo kayise, U-Isaka wazalwa

21:8 Wakhula umfana, walunyulwa;. U-Abrahama wenza idili elikhulu ngosuku lokulunyulwa kwakhe.

21:9 Futhi lapho uSara ebona indodana kaHagari waseGibhithe idlala no-Isaka indodana yakhe, wathi kuAbrahama:

21:10 “Xosha le ncekukazi nendodana yayo. Ngokuba indodana yesigqilakazi ayiyikudla ifa kanye nendodana yami u-Isaka.

21:11 U-Abrahama wakuthatha kabuhlungu lokhu, ngenxa yendodana yakhe.

21:12 Futhi uNkulunkulu wathi kuye: “Makungabonakali kulukhuni kuwe ngomfana nangencekukazi yakho;. kukho konke uSara akusho kuwe, lalela izwi lakhe. Ngoba inzalo yakho iyakubizwa ngo-Isaka.

21:13 Nokho ngiyokwenza indodana yencekukazi ibe yisizwe esikhulu, ngoba uyinzalo yakho.”

21:14 U-Abrahama wavuka ekuseni, wathatha isinkwa nesikhumba samanzi, wayibeka ehlombe lakhe, wanikela umfana, wamkhulula. Kwathi esehambile, wazulazula ehlane laseBeri Sheba.

21:15 Futhi lapho amanzi esikhumbeni lase lidliwe, abeke eceleni umfana, ngaphansi kwesinye sezihlahla ezazilapho.

21:16 Futhi wasuka wahlala endaweni ekude, kuze kufike umnsalo. Ngoba wathi, "Angeke ngimbone umfana efa." Manje, ehlezi maqondana naye, waphakamisa izwi lakhe wakhala.

21:17 Kodwa uNkulunkulu wezwa izwi lomfana. Ingelosi kaNkulunkulu yamemeza kuHagari isezulwini, ethi: "Wenzani, uHagari? Ungesabi. Ngokuba uNkulunkulu ulalele izwi lomfana, endaweni lapho ekhona.

21:18 sukuma. Athathe umfana ambambe ngesandla. Ngoba ngizamenza isizwe esikhulu.

21:19 Futhi uNkulunkulu wavula amehlo akhe. Nokubona umthombo wamanzi, wahamba wagcwalisa isikhumba, wayesephuzisa umfana.

21:20 Futhi uNkulunkulu wayenaye. Futhi wakhula, wahlala ehlane, waba yinsizwa, umcibisheli.

IVangeli Elingcwele NgokukaMathewu 8: 28-34

8:28	And when he had arrived across the sea, into the region of the Gerasenes, he was met by two who had demons, who were so exceedingly savage, as they went out from among the tombs, that no one was able to cross by that way.
8:29	Futhi bheka, bakhala, ethi: “What are we to you, O Jesus, iNdodana kaNkulunkulu? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
8:30	Manje kwakukhona, not far from them, a herd of many swine feeding.
8:31	Then the demons petitioned him, ethi: “If you cast us from here, send us into the herd of swine.”
8:32	Wathi kubo, “Go.” And they, ephuma, went into the swine. Futhi bheka, the entire herd suddenly rushed along a steep place into the sea. And they died in the waters.
8:33	Then the shepherds fled, and arriving in the city, they reported on all this, and on those who had had the demons.
8:34	Futhi bheka, the entire city went out to meet Jesus. And having seen him, they petitioned him, so that he would cross from their borders.
