Ukufunda

First Book of Kings 3: 5, 7-12

3:5 Khona-ke uJehova wabonakala kuSolomoni, ngephupho ebusuku, ethi, “Cela noma yini oyifisayo, ukuze ngikunike yona.”

3:7 Futhi manje, O Nkosi Nkulunkulu, umisile inceku yakho yaba yinkosi esikhundleni sikaDavide, ubaba wami. Kodwa ngingumntwana omncane, futhi anginalwazi ngokungena nokuhamba kwami.

3:8 Futhi inceku yakho iphakathi kwabantu obakhethile, abantu abakhulu, abangenakubalwa, nokubalwa ngenxa yobuningi babo.

3:9 Ngakho-ke, uyiphe inceku yakho inhliziyo efundisekayo, ukuze akwazi ukwahlulela abantu bakho, nokuhlukanisa phakathi kokuhle nokubi. Ngoba ngubani ozokwazi ukwahlulela lababantu, abantu bakho, abangaka?”

3:10 Leli zwi laba mnandi phambi kukaJehova, ukuthi uSolomoni wayecele into enjalo.

3:11 INkosi yasisithi kuSolomoni: “Njengoba ulicelile leli gama, futhi awuzicelelanga izinsuku eziningi noma ingcebo, noma ukuphila kwezitha zenu, kodwa kunalokho uzicelele ukuhlakanipha ukuze ukwazi ukuqonda ukwahlulela:

3:12 bheka, ngikwenzele njengokusho kwakho, futhi ngikunike inhliziyo ehlakaniphileyo neqondayo, kangangoba akukaze kube khona onjengawe ngaphambi kwakho, nanoma ubani oyosukuma ngemva kwakho.

8:28 Futhi siyakwazi lokho, kulabo abathanda uNkulunkulu, zonke izinto zisebenzelana kube kuhle, kulabo aba, ngokuvumelana nenjongo yakhe, babizelwe ukuba ngabangcwele.

8:29 Kulabo ayebazi ngaphambili, wabuye wamisela ngaphambili, ngokuvumelana nomfanekiso weNdodana yakhe, ukuze abe yizibulo phakathi kwabazalwane abaningi.

8:30 Nalabo abamisela ngaphambili, naye wafona. Nalabo ababizile, naye walungisisa. Nalabo abalungisisayo, wabuye wakhazimulisa.

Mathewu 13: 44-52

13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man finds it, he hides it, futhi, because of his joy, he goes and sells everything that he has, and he buys that field.

13:45 Futhi, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking good pearls.

13:46 Having found one pearl of great value, he went away and sold all that he had, and he bought it.

13:47 Futhi, the kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea, which gathers together all kinds of fish.

13:48 When it has been filled, drawing it out and sitting beside the shore, they selected the good into vessels, but the bad they threw away.

13:49 So shall it be at the consummation of the age. The Angels shall go forth and separate the bad from the midst of the just.

13:50 And they shall cast them into the furnace of fire, lapho kuyakuba khona ukukhala nokugedla amazinyo.

13:51 Have you understood all these things?” They say to him, “Yebo.”

13:52 Wathi kubo, “Ngakho-ke, every scribe well-taught about the kingdom of heaven, is like a man, the father of a family, who offers from his storehouse both the new and the old.”
