Ukufunda

The Second Book of Kings 24: 8-17

24:8	UJehoyakini wayeneminyaka eyishumi nesishiyagalombili ekuqaleni kwakhe ukubusa, wabusa izinyanga ezintathu eJerusalema. Igama likanina lalinguNehushta, indodakazi kaElinathani, eJerusalema.
24:9	Wenza okubi phambi kukaJehova, njengakho konke uyise ayekwenzile.
24:10	Ngaleso sikhathi, izinceku zikaNebukadinesari, inkosi yaseBhabhiloni, wenyukela eJerusalema. Umuzi wawubiyelwe ngezinqaba.
24:11	NoNebukadinesari, inkosi yaseBhabhiloni, waya edolobheni, nezinceku zakhe, ukuze alwe nalo.
24:12	noJehoyakini, inkosi yakwaJuda, waphuma, waya enkosini yaseBabele, yena, kanye nomama wakhe, lezinceku zakhe, nabaholi bakhe, nabathenwa bakhe. Inkosi yaseBhabhiloni yamemukela, ngomnyaka wesishiyagalombili wokubusa kwakhe.
24:13	Wathatha khona yonke ingcebo yendlu kaJehova, nengcebo yendlu yenkosi. Wanquma zonke izitsha zegolide uSolomoni, inkosi yakoIsrayeli, ababelenzele ithempeli leNkosi, ngokwezwi leNkosi.
24:14	Futhi walisusa lonke iJerusalema, kanye nabaholi bonke, nawo onke amadoda anamandla empi, izinkulungwane eziyishumi, ekuthunjweni, nazo zonke izingcweti nezingcweti. Futhi akekho owasala ngemuva, ngaphandle kwabampofu phakathi kwabantu bezwe.
24:15	Futhi, wamthumba uJehoyakini wamyisa eBabele, kanye nonina wenkosi, nabafazi benkosi, nabathenwa bakhe. Futhi wabayisa ekuthunjweni abahluleli bezwe, ukusuka eJerusalema ukuya eBhabhiloni,
24:16	nawo onke amadoda anamandla, izinkulungwane eziyisikhombisa, kanye nezingcweti nezingcweti, Inkulungwane: bonke ababengamadoda anamandla futhi belungele ukulwa. Futhi inkosi yaseBhabhiloni yabathumba njengabathunjwa, eBhabhiloni.
24:17	Futhi wabeka uMathaniya, umalume wakhe, endaweni yakhe. Futhi wabeka phezu kwakhe igama uZedekiya.

The Holy Gospel According Matthew 7: 21-29

7:21	Not all who say to me, ‘Nkosi, Nkosi,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does the will of my Father, osezulwini, the same shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.
7:22	Many will say to me in that day, ‘Nkosi, Nkosi, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and perform many powerful deeds in your name?'
7:23	And then will I disclose to them: ‘I have never known you. Suka kimi, you workers of iniquity.’
7:24	Ngakho-ke, everyone who hears these words of mine and does them shall be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock.
7:25	And the rains descended, and the floods rose up, and the winds blew, and rushed upon that house, but it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
7:26	And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them shall be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand.
7:27	And the rains descended, and the floods rose up, and the winds blew, and rushed upon that house, and it did fall, and great was its ruin.”
7:28	Futhi kwenzeka, when Jesus had completed these words, that the crowds were astonished at his doctrine.
7:29	For he was teaching them as one who has authority, and not like their scribes and Pharisees.
