Ukufunda

The Book of the Prophet Jeremiah 20: 10-13

20:10	Ngoba ngezwa ukuthukwa kwabaningi, nokwesaba nxazonke: ‘Mshushise!’ futhi, ‘Asimshushise!’ kuwo wonke amadoda ayekade enokuthula nami futhi ayegadile eceleni kwami. ‘Ukube bekunendlela ethile abengakhohliswa ngayo, futhi singamahlula futhi sithole impindiselo kuye!'
20:11	Kodwa uJehova unami, njengeqhawe elinamandla. Ngokwalesi sizathu, abangizingelayo bayakuwa, futhi ngeke ziphumelele. Bayojabhiswa kakhulu. Ngoba abazange baqonde ihlazo laphakade ukuthi ngeke neze kusulwe.
20:12	Nawe, Nkosi yamabandla, umhloli wabalungileyo, obona ubumnene nenhliziyo: ngiyakuncenga ukuthi ungivumele ngibone impindiselo yakho kubo. Ngoba ngembule udaba lwami kuwe.
20:13	Hlabelelani eNkosini! Dumisani uJehova! Ngoba uwukhululile umphefumulo wompofu esandleni somubi.

10:31	Ngakho-ke, the Jews took up stones, in order to stone him.
10:32	UJesu wabaphendula: “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?”
10:33	The Jews answered him: “We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy and because, though you are a man, you make yourself God.”
10:34	Jesus responded to them: “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said: you are gods?'
10:35	If he called those to whom the word of God was given gods, and Scripture cannot be broken,
10:36	why do you say, about him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You have blasphemed,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God?'
10:37	If I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe in me.
10:38	But if I do them, even if you are not willing to believe in me, believe the works, so that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
10:39	Ngakho-ke, they sought to apprehend him, but he escaped from their hands.
10:40	And he went again across the Jordan, to that place where John first was baptizing. And he lodged there.
10:41	And many went out to him. And they were saying: “Nangempela, John accomplished no signs.
10:42	But all things whatsoever that John said about this man were true.” And many believed in him.
