Duteronomi 4: 1, 5- 9

4:1	“Futhi manje, Israyeli, lalelani iziyalezo nezahlulelo enginifundisa zona, ukuze, ngokwenza lezi, ungaphila, futhi ningangena nilidle izwe, okuyiNkosi, uNkulunkulu wawoyihlo, uzokunika.

4:5	Niyazi ukuthi nginifundisile iziyalezo nokwahlulela, njengalokho uJehova uNkulunkulu wami engiyalile. Niyakwenza kanjalo ezweni eniyakulidla.
4:6	Futhi uzogcina futhi ugcwalise lezi mkhuba. Ngokuba lokhu kungukuhlakanipha kwenu nokuqonda phambi kwamehlo abantu, ukuze, ngemva kokuzwa yonke le miyalo, bangase bathi: ‘Lo, abantu abahlakaniphileyo nabaqondayo, isizwe esikhulu.’
4:7	Futhi asikho esinye isizwe esikhulu kangaka, elinonkulunkulu bayo abaseduze kakhulu nabo, njengoba uNkulunkulu wethu ekhona kuzo zonke izicelo zethu.
4:8	Isiphi esinye isizwe esidume ngokuba nemikhosi, nezahlulelo ezilungile, nawo wonke umthetho engizowubeka namuhla phambi kwamehlo enu?
4:9	Manje, zilinde wena nomphefumulo wakho ngokucophelela. Akufanele ukhohlwe amazwi amehlo akho awabonile, futhi ungakuvumeli ukuba kususwe enhliziyweni yakho, kuzo zonke izinsuku zokuphila kwakho. Wowafundisa amadodana akho kanye nabazukulu bakho,

Mathewu 5: 17- 19

5:17	Do not think that I have come to loosen the law or the prophets. I have not come to loosen, but to fulfill.
5:18	Amen ngithi kuwe, ngokuqinisekile, until heaven and earth pass away, not one iota, not one dot shall pass away from the law, until all is done.
5:19	Ngakho-ke, whoever will have loosened one of the least of these commandments, and have taught men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever will have done and taught these, such a one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
