1:1 UPawulu, umphostoli kaJesu Kristu ngentando kaNkulunkulu, to all the saints who are at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

1:2 Makube kini umusa nokuthula okuvela kuNkulunkulu uBaba, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:3 Makabongwe uNkulunkulu noYise weNkosi yethu uJesu Kristu, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, kuKristu,

1:4 just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy and immaculate in his sight, in charity.

1:5 He has predestined us to adoption as sons, ngoJesu Kristu, in himself, according to the purpose of his will,

1:6 for the praise of the glory of his grace, with which he has gifted us in his beloved Son.

1:7 Kuye, we have redemption through his blood: the remission of sins in accord with the riches of his grace,

1:8 which is superabundant in us, with all wisdom and prudence.

1:9 So does he make known to us the mystery of his will, which he has set forth in Christ, in a manner well-pleasing to him,

1:10 in the dispensation of the fullness of time, so as to renew in Christ everything that exists through him in heaven and on earth.

11:50	ukuze igazi labo bonke abaprofethi, elachithwa selokhu kwasekelwa umhlaba, angabekwa icala kulesi sizukulwane:
11:51	egazini lika-Abela, kuze kube segazini likaZakariya, owabhubha phakathi kwe-altare nendlu engcwele. Ngakho ngithi kini: kuyakufunwa kulesi sizukulwane!
11:52	Maye kuwe, ongoti bezomthetho! Ngokuba nisithathile isihluthulelo solwazi. Nina ngokwenu aningeni, lalabo ababengena, ngabe wenqabela.”
11:53	Khona-ke, esakhuluma lezizinto kubo, abaFarisi nezazi zomthetho baqala ukumqinisa ukuba abambe umlomo wakhe ezintweni eziningi.
11:54	Futhi elinde ukumqamekela, badinga okuthile emlonyeni wakhe ukuthi bangambamba, ukuze ambeke icala.
