A Reading From the First Letter of Saint Paul the Corinthians 2: 10-16

2:10	But God has revealed these things to us through his Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
2:11	And who can know the things that are of a man, except the spirit which is within that man? Έτσι επίσης, no one knows the things which are of God, except the Spirit of God.
2:12	But we have not received the spirit of this world, but the Spirit who is of God, so that we may understand the things that have been given to us by God.
2:13	And we are also speaking of these things, not in the learned words of human wisdom, but in the doctrine of the Spirit, bringing spiritual things together with spiritual things.
2:14	But the animal nature of man does not perceive these things that are of the Spirit of God. For it is foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand it, because it must be examined spiritually.
2:15	But the spiritual nature of man judges all things, and he himself may be judged by no man.
2:16	For who has known the mind of the Lord, so that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 4: 31-32

4:31	Και κατέβηκε στην Καπερναούμ, μια πόλη της Γαλιλαίας. Και εκεί τους δίδασκε τα Σάββατα.
4:32	Και έμειναν έκπληκτοι με το δόγμα του, γιατί ο λόγος του ειπώθηκε με εξουσία.
4:33	Και στη συναγωγή, ήταν ένας άνθρωπος που είχε έναν ακάθαρτο δαίμονα, και φώναξε με δυνατή φωνή,
4:34	ρητό: «Αφήστε μας ήσυχους. Τι είμαστε εμείς για εσάς, Ιησούς από τη Ναζαρέτ? Ήρθες να μας καταστρέψεις? Σε ξέρω ποιος είσαι: ο Άγιος του Θεού».
4:35	Και ο Ιησούς τον επέπληξε, ρητό, «Μείνε σιωπηλός και φύγε από αυτόν». Και όταν ο δαίμονας τον είχε ρίξει ανάμεσά τους, έφυγε από κοντά του, και δεν του έκανε πια κακό.
4:36	Και ο φόβος τους κυρίευσε όλους. Και το συζήτησαν μεταξύ τους, ρητό: «Τι είναι αυτή η λέξη? Διότι με εξουσία και δύναμη διατάζει τα ακάθαρτα πνεύματα, και φεύγουν».
4:37	Και η φήμη του απλώθηκε σε κάθε μέρος της περιοχής.
