Ukufunda

Izenzo Zabaphostoli 6: 8-15

6:8	Bese kuba uStefanu, egcwele umusa namandla, wenza izibonakaliso ezinkulu nezimangaliso phakathi kwabantu.
6:9	Kodwa ezithile, esinagogeni lalabo okuthiwa ngabaKhululwa, kanye nabaseKhurene, kanye nabase-Aleksandriya, kwasukuma nabavela eKhilikhiya nase-Asiya, baphikisana noStefanu.
6:10	Kodwa abakwazanga ukumelana nokuhlakanipha noMoya ayekhuluma ngaye.
6:11	Khona-ke bakhohlisa amadoda okwakumelwe athi ayemuzwile ekhuluma amazwi enhlamba ngoMose nangoNkulunkulu..
6:12	Futhi ngaleyondlela babavusa abantu namalunga nababhali. Futhi siphuthuma ndawonye, bambamba bamyisa emphakathini.
6:13	Futhi bamisa ofakazi bamanga, owathi: “Lo muntu akayeki ukukhuluma amazwi amelene nendawo engcwele nomthetho.
6:14	Ngoba simzwile ethi loJesu waseNazaretha uzoyichitha lendawo aguqule amasiko, lokho uMose asinika kona.”
6:15	Nabo bonke ababehlezi emkhandlwini, emgqolozele, wabona ubuso bakhe, sengathi sekwaba ubuso beNgelosi.

6:22	Ngosuku olulandelayo, the crowd which was standing across the sea saw that there were no other small boats in that place, except one, and that Jesus had not entered into the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had departed alone.
6:23	Nokho ngempela, other boats came over from Tiberias, next to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord gave thanks.
6:24	Ngakho-ke, when the crowd had seen that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they climbed into the small boats, and they went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
6:25	And when they had found him across the sea, bathi kuye, “Rabi, when did you come here?”
6:26	Jesus answered them and said: “Amen, amen, ngithi kini, you seek me, not because you have seen signs, but because you have eaten from the bread and were satisfied.
6:27	Do not work for food that perishes, but for that which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”
6:28	Ngakho-ke, bathi kuye, “Kumele senzenjani, so that we may labor in the works of God?”
6:29	Jesus responded and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he sent.”
