Ukufunda

Jeremiya 1: 1, 4-10

1:1 Amazwi kaJeremiya, indodana kaHilikiya kubapristi ababese-Anathoti ezweni lakwaBenjamini.

11:4 Izwi likaJehova lafika kimi, ethi: 1:5 “Ngingakakubumbi esizalweni, Bengikwazi. Futhi ungakaphumi esizalweni, Ngikungcwelise. Futhi ngikwenze umprofethi ezizweni.”

1:6 Ngase ngithi: “Maye, maye, maye, Nkosi Nkulunkulu! Bheka, Angazi ukuthi ngikhulume kanjani, ngoba ngingumfana.”

1:7 Yathi kimi iNkosi: “Ungakhethi ukusho, ‘Ngingumfana.’ Ngoba uzophuma uye kuwo wonke umuntu engizokuthuma kuye. Uyakukhuluma konke engikuyala ngakho.

1:8 Akufanele wesabe phambi kobuso babo. Ngoba nginawe, ukuze ngikukhulule,” kusho uJehova.

1:9 INkosi yelula isandla sayo, wathinta umlomo wami. Yathi kimi iNkosi: “Bheka, amazwi ami ngiwabekile emlonyeni wakho.

1:10 Bheka, namuhla ngikubekile phezu kwezizwe naphezu kwemibuso, ukuze nisiphule, futhi adonse phansi, futhi ucekele phansi, futhi uhlakaze, futhi ukuze nakhe futhi nitshale.”

Luka 13: 1-9

13:1	And there were present, at that very time, some who were reporting about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices.
13:2	Nokuphendula, wathi kubo: “Do you think that these Galileans must have sinned more than all other Galileans, because they suffered so much?
13:3	Cha, ngiyakutshela. But unless you repent, you will all perish similarly.
13:4	And those eighteen upon whom the tower of Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they also were greater transgressors than all the men living in Jerusalem?
13:5	Cha, ngiyakutshela. But if you do not repent, you will all perish similarly.”
13:6	And he also told this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree, which was planted in his vineyard. And he came seeking fruit on it, but found none.
13:7	Then he said to the cultivator of the vineyard: ‘Bheka, for these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I have found none. Ngakho-ke, cut it down. For why should it even occupy the land?'
13:8	Kodwa ekuphenduleni, wathi kuye: ‘Nkosi, let it be for this year also, during which time I will dig around it and add fertilizer.
13:9	Futhi, ngempela, it should bear fruit. Kodwa uma kungenjalo, in the future, you shall cut it down.’ ”
