Ukufunda

The Book of the the Prophet Jeremiah 2: 1-3, 7-8, 12-13

2:1	Izwi likaJehova lafika kimi, ethi:
2:2	“Hamba, ngikhale ezindlebeni zeJerusalema, ethi: Isho kanje iNkosi: Ngikukhumbule, uhawukele ubusha bakho kanye nesisa somshado wakho, lapho ungilandela ogwadule, ezweni elingahlwanyelwanga.
2:3	u-Israyeli ungcwele kuJehova, okokuqala kwezithelo zakhe. Bonke abamshwabadelayo benza icala. Ububi buyobakhungathekisa, kusho uJehova.”
2:7	Futhi ngakuholela ezweni laseKarmeli, ukuze nidle izithelo zawo nobuhle bawo. Futhi eseyingenile, wangcolisa izwe lami, nefa lami naliphendula laba yisinengiso.
2:8	Abapristi abazange basho: ‘Iphi iNkosi?’ Futhi labo ababephethe umthetho babengazi. Nabefundisi bangikhaphela. Abaprofethi baprofetha ngoBali, balandela izithombe.
2:10	Welelani eziqhingini zaseKitimi, futhi bheka. Futhi uthumele eKedari, futhi ucabange ngenkuthalo. Futhi ubone ukuthi ingabe kukhona okufana nalokhu okuke kwenziwa.
2:12	Kumangale ngalokhu, O mazulu, futhi libe yincithakalo ngokupheleleyo, Amasango ezulu, Isho iNkosi.
2:13	Ngoba abantu bami benze okubi okubili. Sebengilahlile, uMthombo wamanzi aphilayo, futhi bazimbele imithombo, imithombo ephukile engakwazi ukubamba amanzi.

IVangeli Elingcwele NgokukaMathewu 13: 10-17

13:10	And his disciples drew near to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”
13:11	Ephendula, wathi kubo: “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but it has not been given to them.
13:12	For whoever has, it shall be given to him, and he shall have in abundance. But whoever has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him.
13:13	Ngokwalesi sizathu, I speak to them in parables: because seeing, they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
13:14	Manje, in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, owathi, ‘Hearing, you shall hear, but not understand; nokubona, you shall see, but not perceive.
13:15	For the heart of this people has grown fat, and with their ears they hear heavily, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they might see with their eyes, futhi bezwe ngezindlebe zabo, futhi baqonde ngenhliziyo yabo, futhi aguqulwe, and then I would heal them.’
13:16	But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear.
13:17	Amen ngithi kuwe, ngokuqinisekile, that many of the prophets and the just desired to see what you see, and yet they did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and yet they did not hear it.
