Easter Sunday

First Reading

A Reading From the Acts of the Apostles 10: 34, 37-43

10:34	ನಂತರ, ಪೀಟರ್, ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯುವ, ಎಂದರು: “ದೇವರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವವನಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದೆ.
10:37	ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಗಲಿಲೀಯಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ, ಜಾನ್ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸಮ್ ನಂತರ,
10:38	ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸು, ಇವರನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದನು, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ದೆವ್ವದಿಂದ ತುಳಿತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದನು.
10:39	ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಯೂದಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಕ್ಕೆ ನೇತುಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂದರು.
10:40	ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದನು,
10:41	ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವನಿರ್ಧರಿತ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಅವನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದ ನಮಗೆ.

10:43	ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Second Reading

The Letter of St. Paul to the Colossians 3: 1-4

3:1	ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, if you have risen together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
3:2	Consider the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
3:3	For you have died, and so your life is hidden with Christ in God.
3:4	When Christ, your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

20:1	Then on the first Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb.
20:2	ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, she ran and went to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and she said to them, “They have taken the Lord away from the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.”
20:3	ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, Peter departed with the other disciple, and they went to the tomb.
20:4	Now they both ran together, but the other disciple ran more quickly, ahead of Peter, and so he arrived at the tomb first.
20:5	And when he bowed down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not yet enter.
20:6	Then Simon Peter arrived, following him, and he entered the tomb, and he saw the linen cloths lying there,
20:7	and the separate cloth which had been over his head, not placed with the linen cloths, but in a separate place, wrapped up by itself.
20:8	Then the other disciple, who had arrived first at the tomb, also entered. And he saw and believed.
20:9	For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that it was necessary for him to rise again from the dead.
