The Book of the the Prophet Jeremiah 2: 1-3, 7-8, 12-13

2:1	And the word of the Lord came to me, хэлж байна:
2:2	“Яв, and cry out to the ears of Jerusalem, хэлж байна: Эзэн ингэж айлдаж байна: I have remembered you, taking pity on your youth and on the charity of your betrothal, when you followed me into the desert, into a land which is not sown.
2:3	Israel is holy to the Lord, the first of his fruits. All those who devour him commit an offense. Evils will overwhelm them, says the Lord.”
2:7	And I led you into the land of Carmel, so that you would eat from its fruit and from its excellence. And having entered it, you defiled my land, and you turned my inheritance into an abomination.
2:8	The priests have not said: ‘Where is the Lord?’ And those who held the law did not know me. And the pastors betrayed me. And the prophets prophesied in Baal and followed idols.
2:10	Cross over to the isles of Kittim, and gaze. And send to Kedar, and consider diligently. And see if anything like this has ever been done.
2:12	Be astonished at this, O heavens, and be utterly desolate, O gates of heaven, гэж Их Эзэн хэлдэг.
2:13	For my people have done two evils. They have forsaken me, the Fountain of living water, and they have dug for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that are unable to hold water.

13:10	Шавь нар нь түүнд ойртож ирээд хэлэв, "Яагаад та тэдэнд сургаалт зүйрлэлээр ярьдаг юм бэ??”
13:11	Хариулж байна, гэж тэр тэдэнд хэлэв: "Учир нь тэнгэрийн хаанчлалын нууцыг мэдэх нь чамд өгөгдсөн юм, Гэвч энэ нь тэдэнд өгөөгүй байна.
13:12	Байгаа хүндээ, энэ нь түүнд өгөх болно, мөн түүнд элбэг дэлбэг байх болно. Гэхдээ хэнд ч байхгүй, Тэр ч байтугай түүнд байгаа зүйл ч түүнээс булаагдах болно.
13:13	Энэ шалтгааны улмаас, Би тэдэнд сургаалт зүйрлэлээр ярьдаг: учир нь харж байна, тэд харахгүй байна, мөн сонсоход тэд сонсдоггүй, бас тэд ойлгохгүй байна.
13:14	Гэх мэт, Тэдний дотор Исаиагийн эш үзүүллэг биелдэг, хэн хэлсэн, 'Сонсох, чи сонсох болно, гэхдээ ойлгохгүй байна; мөн харж байна, чи харах болно, гэхдээ мэдрэхгүй байна.
13:15	Учир нь энэ ард түмний зүрх таргалсан, мөн чихээрээ тэд маш их сонсдог, мөн тэд нүдээ анилаа, Тэд хэзээ ч нүдээрээ харахгүйн тулд, мөн чихээрээ сонс, мөн зүрх сэтгэлээрээ ойлгодог, мөн хувиргах, Тэгээд би тэднийг эдгээх болно.”
13:16	Гэхдээ таны нүд ерөөлтэй еэ, Учир нь тэд харж байна, мөн чиний чих, Учир нь тэд сонсдог.
13:17	Амен би чамд хэлье, мэдээж, Олон бошиглогчид болон шударга хүмүүс таны харж буй зүйлийг харахыг хүссэн, Гэсэн хэдий ч тэд үүнийг хараагүй, мөн сонссон зүйлээ сонсох, Гэвч тэд үүнийг сонссонгүй.
