پيدائش 46: 1-7, 28-30

46:1 And Israel, setting out with all that he had, arrived at the Well of the Oath. And sacrificing victims there to the God of his father Isaac,

46:2 he heard him, by a vision in the night, هن کي سڏيو, and saying to him: “Jacob, Jacob.” And he answered him, ”ڏس, here I am.”

46:3 God said to him: “I am the most strong God of your father. ڊڄ نه. Descend into Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation.

46:4 I will descend with you to that place, and I will lead you back from there, واپسي. پڻ, Joseph will place his hands over your eyes.

46:5 Then Jacob rose up from the Well of the Oath. And his sons took him, with their little ones and wives, in the wagons that Pharaoh had sent to carry the old man,

46:6 along with all that he possessed in the land of Canaan. And he arrived in Egypt with all his offspring:

46:7 his sons and his grandsons, his daughters and all his progeny together.

46:28 Then he sent Judah ahead of himself, to Joseph, in order to report to him, and so that he would meet him in Goshen.

46:29 And when he had arrived there, Joseph harnessed his chariot, and he went up to meet his father at the same place. ۽ کيس ڏسي, he fell upon his neck, ۽, amid embraces, he wept.

46:30 And the father said to Joseph, “Now I will die happy, because I have seen your face, and I am leaving you behind alive.”

The Holy Gospel According to Matthew 10: 16-22

10:16	۽ انھن کي ڀاڪر پائڻ, ۽ مٿن ھٿ رکيائين, هن انهن کي برڪت ڏني.
10:17	۽ جڏهن هو رستي تي روانو ٿيو هو, هڪ خاص, ڊوڙڻ ۽ هن جي اڳيان گوڏن ڀر, هن کان پڇيو, ”سٺو استاد, مان ڇا ڪريان, ته جيئن مان دائمي زندگي حاصل ڪري سگهان?”
10:18	پر عيسيٰ کيس چيو, ”مون کي چڱو ڇو سڏين? هڪ خدا کان سواءِ ٻيو ڪوبه سٺو ناهي.
10:19	توهان کي خبر آهي ته نصيحت: ”زنا نه ڪر. نه مارڻ. چوري نه ڪريو. ڪوڙي گواهي نه ڳالهاءِ. ٺڳي نه ڪريو. پنهنجي پيءُ ۽ ماءُ جي عزت ڪر“.
10:20	پر جواب ۾, هن کيس چيو, ”استاد, اهي سڀ ڪجهه مون پنهنجي جوانيءَ کان ڏٺو آهي.
10:21	پوء عيسي, هن ڏانهن ڏسڻ, هن سان پيار ڪيو, ۽ هن کيس چيو: ”هڪ شيءِ جي تو ۾ گهٽتائي آهي. وڃ, جيڪو توهان وٽ آهي وڪرو ڪريو, ۽ غريبن کي ڏيو, ۽ پوءِ توهان وٽ جنت ۾ خزانو هوندو. ۽ اچو, منهنجي پويان اچو."
10:22	پر هو غمگين ٿي هليو ويو, لفظ سان تمام گهڻو ڏک ٿيو. ڇاڪاڻ ته هن وٽ ڪيتريون ئي ملڪيتون هيون.
10:23	۽ عيسى, چوڌاري ڏسڻ, پنهنجي شاگردن کي چيو, ”جنهن وٽ دولت آهي انهن لاءِ خدا جي بادشاهت ۾ داخل ٿيڻ ڪيترو مشڪل آهي!”
