Second Corinthians 4: 7-15

4:7 Аммо мо ин ганҷро дар зарфҳои гилин нигоҳ медорем, то он чи олӣ аз қудрати Худо бошад, ва на аз мо.

4:8 Дар ҳама чиз, мо ба мусибат тоб меоварем, вале мо дар изтироб нестем. Мо маҳдудем, вале мо бенаво нестем.

4:9 Мо аз таъқибот азоб мекашем, то хол моро партофта нашудаанд. Моро ба поён мепартоянд, вале мо нобуд намешавем.

4:10 Мо ҳамеша азоби Исоро дар бадани худ нигоҳ медорем, то ки ҳаёти Исо дар ҷисми мо низ зоҳир шавад.

4:11 Зеро ки мо, зиндагон, ҳамеша ба хотири Исо ба марг таслим мешавем, то ки ҳаёти Исо низ дар ҷисми мирандаи мо зоҳир шавад.

4:12 Бинобар ин, марг дар мо кор мекунад, ва ҳаёт дар шумо кор мекунад.

4:13 Аммо мо Рӯҳи имон дорем. Ва чунон ки навишта шудааст, «Ман бовар кардам, ва аз хамин сабаб сухан рондам,” ҳамин тавр мо низ бовар дорем, ва аз хамин сабаб, мо хам сухан меронем.

4:14 Зеро медонем, ки Он ки Исоро эҳьё кард, моро низ бо Исо эҳьё хоҳад кард ва бо шумо хоҳад гузошт.

4:15 Хамин тавр, ҳамааш барои шумост, то ин файз, аз бисёриҳо дар шукргузорӣ фаровон аст, метавонад ба ҷалоли Худо фаровон шавад.

The Holy Gospel According to Matthew 20: 20-28

20:20	Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee approached him, with her sons, adoring him, and petitioning something from him.
20:21	And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Declare that these, my two sons, may sit, one at your right hand, and the other at your left, in your kingdom.”
20:22	But Jesus, responding, said: “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink from the chalice, from which I will drink?” They said to him, “We are able.”
20:23	He said to them: “From my chalice, ҳақиқатан, you shall drink. But to sit at my right or my left is not mine to give to you, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
20:24	And the ten, upon hearing this, became indignant with the two brothers.
20:25	But Jesus called them to himself and said: “You know that the first ones among the Gentiles are their rulers, and that those who are greater exercise power among them.
20:26	It shall not be this way among you. But whoever will want to be greater among you, let him be your minister.
20:27	And whoever will want to be first among you, he shall be your servant,
20:28	even as the Son of man has not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a redemption for many.”
