The Acts of the Apostles 1: 15-17, 20-26

1:15 In those days, Peter, rising up in the midst of the brothers, сказал (now the crowd of men altogether was about one hundred and twenty):

1:16 “Noble brothers, the Scripture must be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit predicted by the mouth of David about Judas, who was the leader of those who apprehended Jesus.

1:17 He had been numbered among us, and he was chosen by lot for this ministry.

1:20 For it has been written in the book of Psalms: ‘Let their dwelling place be desolate and may there be no one who dwells within it,’ and ‘Let another take his episcopate.’

1:21 Поэтому, it is necessary that, out of these men who have been assembling with us throughout the entire time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

1:22 beginning from the baptism of John, until the day when he was taken up from us, one of these be made a witness with us of his Resurrection.”

1:23 And they appointed two: Joseph, who was called Barsabbas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

1:24 And praying, they said: “May you, о, господин, who knows the heart of everyone, reveal which one of these two you have chosen,

1:25 to take a place in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas prevaricated, so that he might go to his own place.”

1:26 And they cast lots concerning them, and the lot fell upon Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven Apostles.

 

Second Reading

The First Letter of Saint John 4: 11-16

4:11 Most beloved, if God has so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

4:12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.

4:13 Таким образом, we know that we abide in him, and he in us: because he has given to us from his Spirit.

4:14 And we have seen, and we testify, that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

4:15 Whoever has confessed that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love. And he who abides in love, abides in Бог, and God in him.

Gospel

The Holy Gospel According to Saint John 17: 11-19

17:11 И хотя я не в мире, это в мире, и я иду к тебе. Отец самый святой, сохранить их на свое имя, тех, кого ты дал мне, так что они могут быть одним, хоть мы и едины.

17:12 Пока я был с ними, Я сохранил их на твое имя. Я охранял тех, кого ты дал мне, и ни один из них не потерян, кроме сына погибели, да сбудется Писание.

17:13 А теперь я иду к тебе. Но я говорю эти вещи в мире, дабы имели в себе полноту радости Моей.

17:14 я дал им слово, и мир ненавидел их. Потому что они не от мира сего, так же, как я, слишком, я не от мира сего.

17:15 Я не молюсь, чтобы вы забрали их из мира, но что бы вы сохранили их от зла.

17:16 Они не от мира сего, как и я не от мира сего.

17:17 Освяти их истиною. Ваше слово - правда.

17:18 Так же, как вы послали меня в мир, Я также послал их в мир.

17:19 И для них я освящаю себя, так, что они, слишком, может быть освящен в истине.
