24:1 |
deinde, on the first Sabbath, at very first light, they went to the tomb, carrying the aromatic spices that they had prepared. |
24:2 |
And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb. |
24:3 |
Et ingressus, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. |
24:4 |
Et factum est ut, while their minds were still confused about this, ecce, two men stood beside them, in shining apparel. |
24:5 |
deinde, since they were afraid and were turning their faces toward the ground, these two said to them: “Why do you seek the living with the dead? |
24:6 |
Non est hic, for he has risen. Recall how he spoke to you, when he was still in Galilee, |
24:7 |
dicens: ‘For the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’ ” |
24:8 |
And they called to mind his words. |
24:9 |
And returning from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven, et omnibus aliis. |
24:10 |
Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary of James, and the other women who were with them, who told these things to the Apostles. |
24:11 |
But these words seemed to them a delusion. And so they did not believe them. |
24:12 |
Petrus autem, exsurgens, ran to the tomb. And stooping down, he saw the linen cloths positioned alone, and he went away wondering to himself about what had happened. |
24:13 |
24:19 |
Et dixit eis, "Quae sunt"?" At illi dixerunt ", "De Iesu Nazareno", qui erat vir nobilis propheta, potens in operibus et in verbis, coram Deo et omni populo. |
24:20 |
et quomodo eum tradiderunt summi sacerdotes et principes nostri in damnationem mortis. Et crucifixerunt eum. |
24:21 |
24:24 |
Et quidam ex nostris exiverunt ad monumentum. Et invenerunt sicut mulieres dixerunt. At vero, et non inveniebant eum. " |
24:25 |
24:34 |
dicens: "Verum", Surrexit Dominus, et apparuit Simoni. |
24:35 |
Et narraverunt ea, quæ fiebant in via, et quomodo cognoverunt eum in fractione panis. |
24:36 |
deinde, dum haec loquerentur, Jesus stetit in medio eorum, Et dixit eis: "Pax tibi. ego sum. Noli timere." |
24:37 |
24:41 |
deinde, cum adhuc essent in incredulitate et in admiratione prae gaudio, dixit, "Habes hic aliquid manducare?" |
24:42 |
At illi obtulerunt ei partem piscis assi et favum mellis. |
24:43 |
24:48 |
Vos autem estis testes horum. |
24:49 |
And I am sending the Promise of my Father upon you. But you must stay in the city, until such time as you are clothed with power from on high.” |
24:50 |
Then he led them out as far as Bethania. And lifting up his hands, benedixit eis. |
24:51 |
Et factum est ut, while he was blessing them, he withdrew from them, and he was carried up into heaven. |
24:52 |
And worshiping, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy. |
24:53 |
And they were always in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen. |
