Actus Apostolorum 11: 1- 8
| 11:1 | Now the Apostles and brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the Word of God. |
| 11:2 | deinde, when Peter had gone up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision argued against him, |
| 11:3 | dicens, “Why did you enter to uncircumcised men, and why did you eat with them?" |
| 11:4 | And Peter began to explain to them, in an orderly manner, dicens: |
| 11:5 | “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and I saw, in an ecstasy of mind, a vision: a certain container descending, like a great linen sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners. And it drew near to me. |
| 11:6 | And looking into it, I considered and saw the four-footed beasts of the earth, et bestias, and the reptiles, and the flying things of the air. |
| 11:7 | Then I also heard a voice saying to me: 'Surge sursus, Petrus. Kill and eat.’ |
| 11:8 | Sed dixi: ‘Never, dominus! For what is common or unclean has never entered into my mouth.’ |
John 10: 1- 10
| 10:1 | "Amen, Amen, tibi dico, qui non intrat per ostium in ovile, sed ascendit per aliam viam, est fur et latro. |
| 10:2 | Qui autem intrat per ostium, pastor est ovium. |
| 10:3 | Huic ostiarius aperit, et oves vocem eius audiunt, et proprias oves vocat nominatim, et educit eos. |
| 10:4 | Et cum emiserit oves suas, antecedit eos, et oves illum sequuntur, quia sciunt vocem eius. |
| 10:5 | Sed non sequuntur peregrinum; sed fugiunt ab eo, quia non noverunt vocem alienorum. |
| 10:6 | Hoc proverbium dixit eis Jesus. ipsi autem non cognoverunt quid loqueretur eis. |
| 10:7 | Ergo, Dixit ergo eis iterum: "Amen, Amen, tibi dico, ego sum ostium ovium. |
| 10:8 | Omnes alii, Quotquot venerunt, sunt fures et latrones, et non audierunt eos oves. |
| 10:9 | ego sum ostium. Si quis introierit per me, hic salvus erit. et ingredietur et egredietur, et pascua inveniet. |
| 10:10 | Fur non venit, nisi ut furetur et mactet et perdat. veni ut vitam habeant, et abundantius habeat. |
