Lectio

Corinthii 1: 1-9

1:1 Paulus, called as an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God; and Sosthenes, frater:

1:2 to the Church of God which is at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints with all who are invoking the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place of theirs and of ours.

1:3 gratia vobis et pax a Deo Patre nostro et Domino Iesu Christo.

1:4 I give thanks to my God continuously for you because of the grace of God that has been given to you in Christ Jesus.

1:5 By that grace, in omnibus, you have become wealthy in him, in every word and in all knowledge.

1:6 Itaque, the testimony of Christ has been strengthened in you.

1:7 Hoc modo, nothing is lacking to you in any grace, as you await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1:8 Et he, etiam, will strengthen you, usque ad finem, without guilt, until the day of the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1:9 God is faithful. Per ipsum, you have been called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Evangelium'

Lectio sancti Evangelii secundum Matthaeum 24: 42-51

24:42 Ergo, vigilate.
