Lectio

Epistola ad Hebraeos 12: 4-7, 11-15

12:4 nondum enim usque ad sanguinem restitistis, contendentes contra peccatum.
12:5 Et oblitus es consolationis , quae tibi tanquam filiis loquitur, dicens: "Filius meus", noli negligere disciplinam Domini. Nec laborastis, cum ab eo increparetur. "
12:6 Quem enim diligit Dominus, castigat. Et omnis filius quem recipit, flagellat.
12:7 In disciplina perseverate. Deus te sibi ut filios offert. Sed quis est filius?, quem pater non recte?
12:8 sed si extra disciplinam estis in qua omnes participes facti estis, tune es adulterii, et non estis filii.
12:9 deinde, etiam, patres quippe carnis nostrae praeceptores habuimus, et coluimus eos. Non magis obtemperabimus Patri spirituum, et sic vivere?
12:10 Et quidem, paucis diebus et pro suo voto, instruxerunt nos. Sed ad utilitatem nostram facit, ut eius sanctificationem capiamus.
12:11 Omnis autem disciplina, in praesenti tempore, non videtur laetitia, utique, Sed luctus. Sed postea, pacatissimum fructum iustitiae reddet iis qui in eo exercitati sunt.
12:12 Quod huius, levate manus pigra et dissoluta genua,
12:13 et dirige semitam pedum tuorum, ne quis, esse claudus, ut errant, sed pro sanari.
12:14 Persequere pacem cum omnibus. Persequere sanctitatem, sine quo nemo videbit Deum.
12:15 esto contemplativus, ne quis desit gratia Dei, ne qua radix amaritudinis oriatur et impediat, et ab eo, multi polluantur,

Lectio sancti Evangelii secundum Marcum 6: 1-6

6:1 And departing from there, he went away to his own country; and his disciples followed him.
6:2 And when the Sabbath arrived, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many, upon hearing him, were amazed at his doctrine, dicens: “Where did this one get all these things?" et, “What is this wisdom, which has been given to him?" et, “Such powerful deeds, which are wrought by his hands!"
6:3 “Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, et Joseph, et Iudas, et Simon? Are not his sisters also here with us?” And they took great offense at him.
6:4 Jesus autem dixit eis, "Propheta non est sine honore", except in his own country, and in his own house, and among his own kindred.”
6:5 And he was not able to perform any miracles there, except that he cured a few of the infirm by laying his hands on them.
6:6 And he wondered, propter incredulitatem eorum, and he traveled around in the villages, docens.
