Ezechiel 2: 2- 5

2:2 Et post hec locutus est mihi, Ingressus est in me Spiritus, et posuit me super pedes meos. Et audivi illum loquentem mecum,

2:3 et dicens: "Filius hominis", ecce ego mitto vos ad filios Israel, ad apostatam gentem, quae recessit a me. ipsi et patres eorum prodiderunt foedus meum, usque in hodiernum diem.

2:4 et filii dura facie et inmota corde sunt ad quos ego mitto te. et dices ad eos: 'Haec dicit Dominus Deus.'

2:5 Fieri fortasse potest ut audiant, et fortasse quieti sint. domus enim exasperans est. et scient quia propheta fuerit in medio eorum.

secundi Corinthii 12: 7- 10

12:7 Et ne magnitudo revelationum me exaltet, Data est mihi positio in carne mea: angelus satanae, et percussit me saepe.

12:8 Quod huius, ter Dominum rogavi ut auferretur a me.

12:9 Et dixit ad me: "Sufficit tibi gratia mea". Virtus enim in infirmitate perficitur. Itaque, libenter gloriabor in infirmitatibus meis, ut vivat in me virtus Christi.

12:10 Quod huius, Laetor in infirmitate mea: in opprobriis, in difficultatibus, in persecutionibus, in angustiis, propter Christum. Cum enim infirmor, tunc potens sum.

Lectio sancti Evangelii secundum Marcum 6: 1-6

6:1 And departing from there, he went away to his own country; and his disciples followed him.
6:2 And when the Sabbath arrived, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many, upon hearing him, were amazed at his doctrine, dicens: “Where did this one get all these things?" et, “What is this wisdom, which has been given to him?" et, “Such powerful deeds, which are wrought by his hands!"
6:3 “Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, et Joseph, et Iudas, et Simon? Are not his sisters also here with us?” And they took great offense at him.
6:4 Jesus autem dixit eis, "Propheta non est sine honore", except in his own country, and in his own house, and among his own kindred.”
6:5 And he was not able to perform any miracles there, except that he cured a few of the infirm by laying his hands on them.
6:6 And he wondered, propter incredulitatem eorum, and he traveled around in the villages, docens.
