Primo Samuel 16: 1, 6- 7, 10- 13

16:1	And the Lord said to Samuel: “How long will you mourn for Saul, though I have rejected him, so that he would not reign over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and approach, so that I may send you to Jesse of Bethlehem. For I have provided a king from among his sons for myself.”

16:6	Et cum intrassent, he saw Eliab, et dixit, “Could he be the Christ in the sight of the Lord?"
16:7	And the Lord said to Samuel: “You should not look with favor on his face, nor on the height of his stature. For I have rejected him. Neither do I judge by the appearance of a man. For man sees those things that are apparent, but the Lord beholds the heart.”

16:10	And so Jesse brought his seven sons before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen any of these.”
16:11	And Samuel said to Jesse, “Could the sons now be completed?” But he responded, “There still remains a little one, and he pastures the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse: “Send and bring him. For we shall not recline to eat, until he arrives here.”
16:12	Ergo, he sent and brought him. Now he was ruddy, and beautiful to behold, and with a stately face. Et dixit Dominus, "Surge sursus, anoint him! For it is he.”
16:13	Ergo, Samuel took the horn of oil, and he anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the Lord was guiding David from that day and thereafter. And Samuel rose up, and he went away to Ramah.

Ephesians 5: 8- 14

5:8	For you were darkness, olim, but now you are light, in the Lord. Sic igitur, walk as sons of the light.
5:9	For the fruit of the light is in all goodness and justice and truth,
5:10	affirming what is well-pleasing to God.
5:11	Itaque, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, sed loco, refute them.
5:12	For the things that are done by them in secret are shameful, even to mention.
5:13	But all things that are disputed are made manifest by the light. For all that is made manifest is light.
5:14	Quod huius, dicitur: “You who are sleeping: awaken, and rise up from the dead, and so shall the Christ enlighten you.”

John 9: 1- 41

9:1	Et iesus, dum transeuntes, vidit hominem caecum a nativitate.
9:2	Et interrogaverunt eum discipuli eius, "Rabbi", qui peccaverunt, hic aut parentes, ut caecus nasceretur?"
9:3	Jesus respondit: "Neque hic peccavit neque parentes eius", sed ut manifestentur opera Dei in ipso.
9:4	me oportet operari opera eius qui me misit, dum dies est: nox venit, si nemo possit operari.
9:5	Quamdiu in mundo sum, ego sum lux mundi.
9:6	Haec cum dixisset, exspuit super terram, et lutum fecit ex sputo, et lutum super oculos eius linivit.
9:7	Et dixit ei: "Ite", lava in natatoria Siloe " (quod interpretatur: ille qui missum est). Ergo, abiit et lavit, et rediit, cum.
9:8	Itaque circumstantes, et qui viderant eum prius, cum mendicus, dixit, Nonne hic est qui sedebat et mendicabat??"Quidam", "Hic est".
9:9	Alii autem dicebant, "Certe non, sed est similis illi. Sed vere, ipse dixit, "Ego sum."
9:10	Ergo, dixerunt ei, "Quomodo aperti sunt oculi tui"?"
9:11	Respondit: "Ille homo, qui dicitur Jesus, lutum fecit.", et unxit oculos meos et dixit ad me, 'Vade ad stagnum Siloam et lava.' Et abii, et lavi, et video."
9:12	Dixerunt ergo ei, "Ubi est is?" Dixit, "Ignoro."
9:13	Adducunt eum ad pharisaeos, qui caecus fuerat.
9:14	Erat autem sabbatum, quando lutum fecit Iesus et aperuit oculos eius.
9:15	Ergo, Iterum interrogabant eum pharisaei quomodo vidisset. Et dixit eis, "Lutum posuit super oculos meos", et lavi, et video."
9:16	Dicebant ergo quidam Pharisei: "Hic vir, qui non servat sabbatum, non est a Deo ". Alii autem dicebant, "Quomodo potest homo peccator haec signa facere??Et erat schisma in eis.
9:17	Ergo, Dixeruntque iterum caeco, "Quid dicis de eo qui aperuit tibi oculos?"?"Tunc dixit, Propheta est.
9:18	Ergo, Iudaei non credebant, de eo, quod caecus fuisset et vidisset, donec parentes eius qui viderant vocaverunt.
9:19	Et interrogaverunt eos, dicens: "Hic est filius tuus?, quem dicis caecus natus est? quomodo ergo nunc videt??"
9:20	Responderunt eis parentes eius et dixerunt: "Scimus quia hic est filius noster et quia caecus natus est".
9:21	Sed quomodo id nunc videt?, nescimus. Et qui aperuit oculos eius, nescimus. Ipsum interrogate. Ipse senex est. Pro se loquatur.
9:22	haec dicebant parentes eius propter metum Iudaeorum. Iam enim conspiraverant Iudaei, ut si quis eum confiteretur esse Christum, pelleretur a synagoga.
9:23	Propterea parentes eius dixerunt: "Qui senex est". Ipsum interrogate."
9:24	Ergo, vocaverunt eum qui caecus fuerat, et dixerunt ei: "Da Deo gloriam". Scimus quia hic homo peccator est.
9:25	Et dixit eis: "Si peccator est", Nescio. Unum scio, quamvis caecus, nunc video."
9:26	Dixerunt ergo ei: "Quid fecit tibi?? Quomodo aperiet oculos tuos??"
9:27	Respondit eis: "Iam dixi vobis", et audistis illum. Quid vis audire iterum?? Visne etiam eius discipuli fieri?"
9:28	Ergo, maledixerunt ei et dixerunt: "Tu es eius discipulus". nos autem Moysi discipuli sumus.
9:29	Scimus quod locutus est Deus ad Moysen. Sed hic homo, nescimus unde sit.
9:30	Respondit homo, et dixit eis: "Hoc autem mirum est": ut nescias unde sit, et tamen aperuit mihi oculos.
9:31	Et scimus quia peccatores Deus non audit. Si quis autem Dei cultor est et voluntatem eius facit, et exaudit eum.
9:32	Ab antiquis temporibus, non est auditum quia quis aperuit oculos caeci nati.
9:33	nisi hic esset a deo, non posset facere quidquam tale.
9:34	Responderunt et dixerunt ei, "Prorsus in peccatis natus es, et tu doce nos?Et eiecerunt eum.
9:35	Jesus audivit quod eiecerunt eum. Et cum invenissent eum, dixit ei, "Tu credis in Filium Dei"?"
9:36	Respondit et dixit, "Quis est, domini, ut credam in eum?"
9:37	Jesus autem dixit ei, "Et vidisti eum, et ipse est qui loquitur vobiscum.
9:38	Et dixit, "Credo, Dominus. Et procidens, et adoravit eum.
9:39	Jesus autem dixit, "Veni in hunc mundum in iudicium.", ut qui non vident, potest videre; et ut videntes, ut caeci fiant. "
9:40	Et quidam Pharisei, qui cum eo, auditis, et dixerunt ei, "Num etiam caeci sumus"?"
9:41	Jesus dixit eis: "Si caeci essetis", non haberes peccatum. Sed nunc dicis, 'Videmus.' Sic perstat peccatum tuum.
