The Letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians 5: 18-25
5:18 | But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. |
5:19 | Now the works of the flesh are manifest; they are: fornication, lust, homosexualitas, self-indulgence, |
5:20 | the serving of idols, drug use, hostility, contentiousness, jealousy, wrath, quarrels, dissensions, divisions, |
5:21 | invidia, murder, inebriation, carousing, and similar things. About these things, I continue to preach to you, as I have preached to you: that those who act in this way shall not obtain the kingdom of God. |
5:22 | But the fruit of the Spirit is charity, joy, peace, patientia, kindness, goodness, forbearance, |
5:23 | mansuetudo, fidem, modesty, abstinence, chastity. There is no law against such things. |
5:24 | For those who are Christ’s have crucified their flesh, along with its vices and desires. |
5:25 | If we live by the Spirit, we should also walk by the Spirit. |

11:42 | Sed vae vobis, Pharisaeorum! Decimas enim mentham et rutam et omnem herbam, sed ignoras iudicium et caritatem dei. Sed haec oportuit facere, sine omissis aliis. |
11:43 | Vae tibi, Pharisaeorum! Primas enim sedes in synagogis diligitis, et salvete in foro. |
11:44 | Vae tibi! vos enim estis sicut monumenta quae non sunt notabilia, ut non sentientes ambulent super eos ». |
11:45 | Tunc unus ex legis peritis, in responsum, dixit ei, "Magister, haec dicens, in nos quoque contumeliam affertis. |
11:46 | Dixit ergo: Et vae vobis legis peritis! Hominibus enim oneratis, quae ferre non possunt, sed ne uno quidem digitorum vestrorum pondere vos tangitis. |
