5:7	Christus est, in diebus carnis suae, clamore et lacrimis, preces et supplicationes ei qui illum a morte liberare posset, et exauditus est propter reverentiam suam.
5:8	Et quamvis, certe, ipse est Filius Dei, didicit ex iis quae passus est.
5:9	Et cum pervenisset ad consummationem suam, factus est, omnibus qui ei obediunt, causa salutis aeternae,

Lectio sancti Evangelii secundum Lucam 2: 33-35

2:33	And his father and mother were wondering over these things, which were spoken about him.
2:34	And Simeon blessed them, and he said to his mother Mary: "Ecce", this one has been set for the ruin and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and as a sign which will be contradicted.
2:35	And a sword will pass through your own soul, so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
