Handelingen 13: 44- 52

13:44	Toch echt, op de volgende sabbat, bijna de hele stad kwam samen om het Woord van God te horen.
13:45	Dan de Joden, de drukte zien, waren vervuld van afgunst, en zij, godslastering, in tegenspraak met de dingen die door Paulus werden gezegd.
13:46	Toen zeiden Paulus en Barnabas resoluut: “Het was nodig om eerst het Woord van God tot u te spreken. Maar omdat je het afwijst, en oordeel daarom dat u het eeuwige leven niet waardig bent, zie, we wenden ons tot de heidenen.
13:47	Want zo heeft de Heer ons opgedragen: ‘Ik heb je aangesteld als een licht voor de heidenen, zodat u redding kunt brengen tot aan de uiteinden van de aarde.'”
13:48	Dan de heidenen, bij het horen hiervan, waren verheugd, en zij verheerlijkten het Woord des Heren. En zovelen als er geloofden waren voorbestemd tot het eeuwige leven.
13:49	Nu werd het woord van de Heer in de hele regio verspreid.
13:50	Maar de joden spoorden enkele vrome en eerlijke vrouwen aan, en de leiders van de stad. En zij veroorzaakten vervolging tegen Paulus en Barnabas. En ze joegen hen weg van hun delen.
13:51	Maar zij, het stof van hun voeten tegen hen schuddend, ging naar Iconium.
13:52	De discipelen waren eveneens vervuld met blijdschap en met de Heilige Geest.

John 14: 7- 14

14:7	If you had known me, certainly you would also have known my Father. And from now on, you shall know him, and you have seen him.”
14:8	Philip said to him, "Heer, reveal the Father to us, and it is enough for us.”
14:9	zei Jezus tegen hem: “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me? Philip, whoever sees me, also sees the Father. How can you say, ‘Reveal the Father to us?'
14:10	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am speaking to you, I do not speak from myself. But the Father abiding in me, he does these works.
14:11	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
14:12	Or else, believe because of these same works. Amen, amen, ik zeg je, whoever believes in me shall also do the works that I do. And greater things than these shall he do, for I go to the Father.
14:13	And whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14	If you shall ask anything of me in my name, that I will do.

The Acts of the Apostles 13: 26-33

13:26	Edele broers, zonen van de stam van Abraham, en degenen onder u die God vrezen, tot u is het Woord van deze zaligheid gezonden.
13:27	Voor degenen die in Jeruzalem woonden, en zijn heersers, geen acht slaan op hem, noch de stemmen van de profeten die op elke sabbat worden voorgelezen, vervulde deze door hem te oordelen.
13:28	En hoewel ze geen reden voor de dood tegen hem vonden, smeekten ze Pilatus, zodat ze hem ter dood konden brengen.
13:29	En toen ze alles hadden vervuld wat over hem was geschreven, hem uit de boom halen, ze legden hem in een graf.
13:30	Toch echt, God wekte hem op de derde dag op uit de dood.
13:31	En hij werd vele dagen gezien door degenen die met hem optrokken van Galilea naar Jeruzalem, die zelfs nu nog zijn getuigen voor het volk zijn.
13:32	En we kondigen u aan dat de Belofte, die aan onze vaderen werd gemaakt,
13:33	is vervuld door God voor onze kinderen door Jezus op te wekken, precies zoals het ook in de tweede Psalm is geschreven: 'Jij bent mijn zoon. Deze dag heb ik je verwekt.'

The Holy Gospel According to John 14: 1-6

14:1	“Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
14:2	In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
14:4	And you know where I am going. And you know the way.”
14:5	Thomas said to him, "Heer, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

First Letter of Peter

5:5	Evenzo, young persons, be subject to the elders. And infuse all humility among one another, for God resists the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace.
5:6	En dus, be humbled under the powerful hand of God, so that he may exalt you in the time of visitation.
5:7	Cast all your cares upon him, for he takes care of you.
5:8	Be sober and vigilant. For your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion, traveling around and seeking those whom he might devour.
5:9	Resist him by being strong in faith, being aware that the same passions afflict those who are your brothers in the world.
5:10	But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself perfect, confirm, and establish us, after a brief time of suffering.
5:11	To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
5:12	I have written briefly, through Sylvanus, whom I consider to be a faithful brother to you, begging and testifying that this is the true grace of God, in which you have been established.
5:13	The Church which is in Babylon, elect together with you, greets you, as does my son, Markering.
5:14	Greet one another with a holy kiss. Grace be to all of you who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Markering 16: 15 – 20

16:15 En hij zei tegen hen: “Go forth to the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature.

16:16 Whoever will have believed and been baptized will be saved. Toch echt, whoever will not have believed will be condemned.

16:17 Now these signs will accompany those who believe. In my name, they shall cast out demons. They will speak in new languages.

16:18 They will take up serpents, En, if they drink anything deadly, it will not harm them. They shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they will be well.”

16:19 En inderdaad, de Here Jezus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and he sits at the right hand of God.
