12:24	En orð Drottins jókst og fjölgaði.
12:25	Síðan Barnabas og Sál, að hafa lokið ráðuneytinu, sneri aftur frá Jerúsalem, koma með Jóhannes, sem hét Mark.

13:1	Nú voru það, í kirkjunni í Antíokkíu, spámenn og kennara, meðal þeirra voru Barnabas, og Simon, sem kallaður var svarti, og Lúsíus frá Kýrene, og Manahen, sem var fósturbróðir Heródesar fjórðungs, og Sál.
13:2	Nú þegar þeir þjónuðu Drottni og föstuðu, sagði heilagur andi við þá: „Skiljið Sál og Barnabas fyrir mig, fyrir verkið sem ég hef valið þá til.
13:3	Þá, fasta og biðja og leggja hendur sínar á þá, þeir sendu þá burt.
13:4	Og hafa verið sendur af heilögum anda, þeir fóru til Seleucia. Og þaðan sigldu þeir til Kýpur.
13:5	Og er þeir voru komnir til Salamis, þeir voru að prédika orð Guðs í samkunduhúsum Gyðinga. Og þeir höfðu líka Jóhannes í þjónustunni.

12:44	But Jesus cried out and said: “Whoever believes in me, does not believe in me, but in him who sent me.
12:45	And whoever sees me, sees him who sent me.
12:46	I have arrived as a light to the world, so that all who believe in me might not remain in darkness.
12:47	And if anyone has heard my words and not kept them, I do not judge him. For I did not come so that I may judge the world, but so that I may save the world.
12:48	Whoever despises me and does not accept my words has one who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him on the last day.
12:49	For I am not speaking from myself, but from the Father who sent me. He gave a commandment to me as to what I should say and how I should speak.
12:50	And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Þess vegna, the things that I speak, just as the Father has said to me, so also do I speak.”
