The Acts of the Apostles 3: 13-15, 17-19

3:13	Boh Abraháma a Boh Izáka a Boh Jakuba, Boh našich otcov, oslávil svojho Syna Ježiša, koho ty, naozaj, odovzdali a zapreli pred tvárou Piláta, keď vynášal rozsudok, aby ho prepustil.
3:14	Potom ste zapreli Svätého a Spravodlivého, a prosil, aby ti vydali vražedného muža.
3:15	Naozaj, bol to Autor života, ktorého ste usmrtili, ktorého Boh vzkriesil z mŕtvych, ktorých sme svedkami.
3:17	A teraz, bratia, Viem, že si to urobil z nevedomosti, tak ako to urobili aj vaši vodcovia.
3:18	Ale týmto spôsobom Boh splnil veci, ktoré vopred oznámil ústami všetkých prorokov: že jeho Kristus bude trpieť.

Second reading

The First Letter of Saint John 2: 1-5

2:1	My little sons, this I write to you, so that you may not sin. But if anyone has sinned, we have an Advocate with the Father, Ježiš Kristus, ten Spravodlivý.
2:2	And he is the propitiation for our sins. And not only for our sins, but also for those of the whole world.
2:3	And we can be sure that we have known him by this: if we observe his commandments.
2:4	Whoever claims that he knows him, and yet does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
2:5	But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the charity of God is perfected. And by this we know that we are in him.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 24: 35-48

24:35	And they explained the things that were done on the way, and how they had recognized him at the breaking of the bread.
24:36	Potom, while they were talking about these things, Jesus stood in their midst, A on im povedal: “Peace be with you. It is I. Do not be afraid.”

24:45	Then he opened their mind, so that they might understand the Scriptures.
24:46	A on im povedal: “For so it is written, and so it was necessary, for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead on the third day,
24:47	a, in his name, for repentance and the remission of sins to be preached, among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
24:48	And you are witnesses of these things.
