The Acts of the Apostles 18: 23-28

18:23	A že som tam strávil nejaký čas, vydal sa, a kráčal v poriadku cez oblasť Galácie a Frýgie, posilňovanie všetkých učeníkov.
18:24	Teraz istý Žid menom Apollo, narodený v Alexandrii, výrečný muž, ktorý bol mocný s Písmom, prišiel do Efezu.
18:25	Bol učený na ceste Pánovej. A byť vrúcny v duchu, hovoril a učil veci, ktoré sú od Ježiša, ale poznajúc len Jánov krst.
18:26	A tak, začal verne pôsobiť v synagóge. A keď ho počuli Priscilla a Akvila, vzali ho nabok a dôkladnejšie mu vyložili Cestu Pána.
18:27	Potom, keďže chcel ísť do Achája, bratia napísali učeníkom napomenutie, aby ho mohli prijať. A keď prišiel, veľa diskutoval s tými, ktorí uverili.
18:28	Lebo vehementne a verejne kritizoval Židov, zjavením prostredníctvom Písma, že Ježiš je Kristus.

The Holy Gospel According to John 16: 23-28

16:23	A, v ten deň, you will not petition me for anything. Amen, amen, hovorím ti, if you ask the Father for anything in my name, he will give it to you.
16:24	Until now, you have not requested anything in my name. Opýtať sa, and you shall receive, so that your joy may be full.
16:25	I have spoken these things to you in proverbs. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in proverbs; namiesto toho, I will announce to you plainly from the Father.
16:26	V ten deň, you shall ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you.
16:27	For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and because you have believed that I went forth from God.
