Reading

Paul’s Letter to the Philippians 2: 12-18

2:12	A tak, moja najmilovanejšia, ako ste vždy poslúchali, nielen v mojej prítomnosti, ale ešte viac teraz v mojej neprítomnosti: pracujte na svojej spáse s bázňou a chvením.
2:13	Lebo je to Boh, ktorý pôsobí vo vás, oboje tak, aby ste si vybrali, a tak konať, v súlade s jeho dobrou vôľou.
2:14	A robte všetko bez reptania a váhania.
2:15	Tak nech ste bez viny, jednoduchí Boží synovia, bez výčitiek, uprostred skazeného a zvráteného národa, medzi ktorými žiariš ako svetlá vo svete,
2:16	držať sa Slova života, až do mojej slávy v deň Krista. Lebo som nebežal nadarmo, ani som sa nadarmo nenamáhal.
2:17	Navyše, ak mám byť obetovaný kvôli obeti a službe tvojej viere, Teším sa a ďakujem s vami všetkými.
2:18	A nad touto istou vecou, mali by ste sa tiež radovať a ďakovať, spolu so mnou.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 14: 25-33

14:25	Now great crowds traveled with him. And turning around, povedal im:
14:26	“If anyone comes to me, and does not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, a bratia, and sisters, and yes, even his own life, he is not able to be my disciple.
14:27	And whoever does not bear his cross and come after me, is not able to be my disciple.
14:28	For who among you, wanting to build a tower, would not first sit down and determine the costs that are required, to see if he has the means to complete it?
14:29	Inak, after he will have laid the foundation and not been able to finish it, everyone who sees it may begin to mock him,
14:30	hovorí: ‘This man began to build what he was not able to finish.’
14:31	Alebo, what king, advancing to engage in war against another king, would not first sit down and consider whether he may be able, with ten thousand, to meet one who comes against him with twenty thousand?
14:32	If not, then while the other is still far away, sending a delegation, he would ask him for terms of peace.
14:33	Preto, everyone of you who does not renounce all that he possesses is not able to be my disciple.
