Reading

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians 3: 17- 4:1

3:17	Buďte mojimi imitátormi, bratia, a pozorovať tých, ktorí kráčajú podobne, ako ste videli na našom príklade.
3:18	Pre veľa osôb, o ktorých som vám často hovoril (a teraz ti povedz, plačúci,) kráčajú ako nepriatelia Kristovho kríža.
3:19	Ich koniec je zničenie; ich bohom je ich brucho; a ich sláva je v ich hanbe: lebo sú ponorení do pozemských vecí.
3:20	Ale náš spôsob života je v nebi. A z neba, tiež, čakáme na Spasiteľa, nášho Pána Ježiša Krista,
3:21	ktorý premení telo našej nízkosti, podľa podoby tela jeho slávy, pomocou tej sily, ktorou je dokonca schopný podriadiť si všetky veci.

Filipským 4

4:1	A tak, moji najmilovanejší a najžiadanejší bratia, moja radosť a moja koruna: stoj pevne týmto spôsobom, v Pánovi, najmilovanejšie.

Matúš 16: 1-8

16:1 And Pharisees and Sadducees approached him to test him, and they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

16:2 But he responded by saying to them: “When evening arrives, you say, ‘It will be calm, for the sky is red,'

16:3 and in the morning, ‘Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and gloomy.’ So then, you know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you are unable to know the signs of the times?

16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. And a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And leaving them behind, he went away.

16:5 And when his disciples went across the sea, they forgot to bring bread.

16:6 A on im povedal, “Consider and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

16:7 But they were thinking within themselves, hovorí, “It is because we have not brought bread.”

16:8 Potom Ježiš, knowing this, povedal: “Why do you consider within yourselves, O little in faith, that it is because you have no bread?
