Primera Lectura

The Book of the Prophet Isaiah 42: 1-4, 6-7

Segona Lectura

Els Fets dels Apòstols 10: 34-38

10:34 Aleshores, Pere, opening his mouth, dit: “I have concluded in truth that God is not a respecter of persons.
10:35 But within every nation, whoever fears him and works justice is acceptable to him.
10:36 God sent the Word to the sons of Israel, announcing the peace through Jesus Christ, for he is the Lord of all.
10:37 You know that the Word has been made known throughout all Judea. For beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached,
10:38 Jesus of Nazareth, whom God anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power, traveled around doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. For God was with him.

Evangeli

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 1: 7-11

1:7 And he preached, dient: “One stronger than me comes after me. I am not worthy to reach down and loosen the laces of his shoes.
1:8 I have baptized you with water. No obstant això, de veritat, he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
1:9 I va passar això, in those days, Jesus arrived from Nazareth of Galilee. And he was baptized by John in the Jordan.
1:10 I de seguida, upon ascending from the water, he saw the heavens opened and the Spirit, com un colom, descendent, and remaining with him.
1:11 And there was a voice from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.
