Lectura

Efesis 1: 1-10

1:1 Pau, un apòstol de Jesucrist per voluntat de Déu, a tots els sants que són a Efes i als fidels en Crist Jesús.

1:2 Gràcia i pau a vosaltres de part de Déu Pare, i del Senyor Jesucrist.

1:3 Beneït sigui el Déu i Pare de nostre Senyor Jesucrist, qui ens ha beneït amb totes les benediccions espirituals al cel, en Crist,

1:4 tal com ens va escollir en ell abans de la fundació del món, perquè fossim sants i immaculats als seus ulls, en caritat.

1:5 Ell ens ha predestinat a l'adopció com a fills, a través de Jesucrist, en ell mateix, segons la finalitat de la seva voluntat,

1:6 per la lloança de la glòria de la seva gràcia, amb la qual ens ha donat en el seu Fill estimat.

1:7 En ell, tenim la redempció a través de la seva sang: la remissió dels pecats d'acord amb les riqueses de la seva gràcia,

1:8 que és superabundant en nosaltres, amb tota saviesa i prudència.

1:9 Així ens fa conèixer el misteri de la seva voluntat, que ha exposat en Crist, d'una manera que li agradaria,

1:10 en la dispensació de la plenitud del temps, per tal de renovar en Crist tot allò que per Ell existeix al cel i a la terra.

Luke 1: 47-54

11:47	Woe to you, who build the tombs of the prophets, while it is your fathers who killed them!
11:48	Clarament, you are testifying that you consent to the actions of your fathers, because even though they killed them, you build their sepulchers.
11:49	Because of this also, the wisdom of God said: I will send to them Prophets and Apostles, and some of these they will kill or persecute,
11:50	so that the blood of all the Prophets, which has been shed since the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation:
11:51	from the blood of Abel, even to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. So I say to you: it will be required of this generation!
11:52	Woe to you, experts in the law! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves do not enter, and those who were entering, you would have prohibited.”
11:53	Aleshores, while he was saying these things to them, the Pharisees and the experts in the law began to insist strongly that he restrain his mouth about many things.
11:54	And waiting to ambush him, they sought something from his mouth that they might seize upon, in order to accuse him.
