The Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians 6: 1-9

6:1	Nens, obeeix als teus pares en el Senyor, perquè això és just.
6:2	Honra el teu pare i la teva mare. Aquest és el primer manament amb una promesa:
6:3	perquè et vagi bé, i perquè tingueu una llarga vida a la terra.
6:4	I tu, pares, no provoquis la ira dels teus fills, sinó educar-los amb la disciplina i la correcció del Senyor.
6:5	Servidors, sigueu obedients als vostres senyors segons la carn, amb por i tremolor, en la senzillesa del teu cor, com a Crist.
6:6	No servir només quan es veu, com per agradar als homes, sinó actuar com a servidors de Crist, fent la voluntat de Déu des del cor.
6:7	Serviu amb bona voluntat, quant al Senyor, i no als homes.
6:8	Perquè saps que cadascú farà el bé que sigui, el mateix rebrà del Senyor, tant si és criat com si és lliure.
6:9	I tu, senyors, actuar de la mateixa manera cap a ells, deixant de banda les amenaces, sabent que el Senyor de vosaltres i d'ells és al cel. Perquè amb ell no hi ha favoritisme cap a ningú.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 13: 22-30

13:22	And he was traveling through the cities and towns, teaching and making his way to Jerusalem.
13:23	And someone said to him, “Senyor, are they few who are saved?” But he said to them:
13:24	“Strive to enter through the narrow gate. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and not be able.
13:25	Aleshores, when the father of the family will have entered and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, dient, ‘Lord, open to us.’ And in response, he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’
13:26	Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
13:27	And he will say to you: ‘I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!’
13:28	En aquell lloc, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, yet you yourselves are expelled outside.
13:29	And they will arrive from the East, and the West, and the North, and the South; and they will recline at table in the kingdom of God.
13:30	I vet aquí, those who are last will be first, and those who are first will be last.”
