The Acts of the Apostles 6: 8-15

6:8	Potom Stephen, naplnený milosťou a silou, robil medzi ľuďmi veľké znamenia a zázraky.
6:9	Ale isté, zo synagógy takzvaných libertínov, a Cyrénčanov, a Alexandrijcov, a tí, ktorí boli z Cilície a Ázie, povstali a hádali sa so Štefanom.
6:10	Ale nemohli odolať múdrosti a Duchu, s ktorým hovoril.
6:11	Potom si podriadili mužov, ktorí mali tvrdiť, že ho počuli hovoriť slová rúhania sa Mojžišovi a Bohu..
6:12	A tak pobúrili ľud a starších a zákonníkov. A ponáhľať sa spolu, chytili ho a priviedli do rady.
6:13	A postavili falošných svedkov, kto povedal: „Tento muž neprestáva hovoriť slová proti svätému miestu a zákonu.
6:14	Počuli sme ho totiž hovoriť, že tento Ježiš Nazaretský zničí toto miesto a zmení tradície, ktoré nám odovzdal Mojžiš.“
6:15	A všetci tí, čo sedeli v rade, hľadiac na neho, videl jeho tvár, akoby sa stala tvárou anjela.

The Holy Gospel According to John 6: 22-29

6:22	On the next day, the crowd which was standing across the sea saw that there were no other small boats in that place, except one, and that Jesus had not entered into the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had departed alone.
6:23	Napriek tomu skutočne, other boats came over from Tiberias, next to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord gave thanks.
6:24	Preto, when the crowd had seen that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they climbed into the small boats, and they went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
6:25	And when they had found him across the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?“
6:26	Jesus answered them and said: „Amen, amen, hovorím ti, you seek me, not because you have seen signs, but because you have eaten from the bread and were satisfied.
6:27	Do not work for food that perishes, but for that which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”
6:28	Preto, they said to him, "Čo by sme mali urobiť, so that we may labor in the works of God?“
6:29	Jesus responded and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he sent.”
