Bukhu la Mneneri Yesaya 42: 1-4, 6-7

42:1	Taonani mtumiki wanga, ndidzamugwiriziza, osankhidwa anga, moyo wanga ukondwera naye;. Ndatumiza Mzimu wanga pa iye. + Iye adzapereka chiweruzo kwa amitundu.
42:2	Sadzalira, ndipo sadzakondera munthu; ngakhale liwu lake silidzamveka kunja.
42:3	Bango lophwanyika sadzalithyola, ndipo nyale yofuka sadzayizima. Adzatsogolera chiweruzo m’choonadi.
42:4	Sadzakhala wachisoni kapena kuvutitsidwa, mpaka adzakhazikitsa chiweruzo pa dziko lapansi. Ndipo zisumbu zidzayembekezera lamulo lake.
42:6	Ine, Ambuye, adakuitana iwe m’chilungamo, ndipo ndagwira dzanja lako ndi kukusunga. Ndipo ndakupereka iwe ngati pangano la anthu, monga kuunika kwa amitundu,
42:7	kuti mutsegule maso akhungu, tulutsani mndende m’ndende, ndi iwo amene akhala mumdima, kuwatulutsa m’nyumba yandende.

Machitidwe a Atumwi 10: 34-38

10:34	Ndiye, Petro, kutsegula pakamwa pake, adatero: “Ndatsimikizadi kuti Mulungu alibe tsankho.
10:35	But within every nation, whoever fears him and works justice is acceptable to him.
10:36	God sent the Word to the sons of Israel, announcing the peace through Jesus Christ, for he is the Lord of all.

Uthenga Wopatulika Malinga ndi Luka 1: 7-11

1:7	And he preached, kunena: “One stronger than me comes after me. I am not worthy to reach down and loosen the laces of his shoes.
