First Book of Kings 3: 5, 7-12

3:5 Then the Lord appeared to Solomon, through a dream in the night, kunena, “Request whatever you wish, so that I may give it to you.”

3:7 Ndipo tsopano, O Ambuye Mulungu, you have caused your servant to reign in place of David, bambo anga. But I am a small child, and I am ignorant of my entrance and departure.

3:8 And your servant is in the midst of the people that you have chosen, an immense people, who are not able to be numbered or counted because of their multitude.

3:9 Choncho, give to your servant a teachable heart, so that he may be able to judge your people, and to discern between good and evil. For who will be able to judge this people, your people, who are so many?”

3:10 And the word was pleasing before the Lord, that Solomon had requested this kind of thing.

3:11 And the Lord said to Solomon: “Since you have requested this word, and you have not asked for many days or for wealth for yourself, nor for the lives of your enemies, but instead you have requested for yourself wisdom in order to discern judgment:

3:12 tawonani, I have done for you according to your words, and I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so much so that there has been no one like you before you, nor anyone who will rise up after you.

Aroma 8: 28-30

8:28 Ndipo ife tikudziwa zimenezo, kwa iwo amene amakonda Mulungu, zinthu zonse zimagwirira ntchito pamodzi kuti zikhale zabwino, kwa iwo amene, mogwirizana ndi cholinga chake, aitanidwa kukhala oyera mtima.

8:29 Kwa iwo amene iye anawadziwiratu, iyenso anakonzeratu, mogwirizana ndi chifaniziro cha Mwana wake, kuti akhale Woyamba mwa abale ambiri.

8:30 Ndi iwo amene Iye anawakonzeratu, nayenso adayitana. Ndi iwo amene anawaitana, adalungamitsanso. Ndi iwo amene adawalungamitsa, adalemekezanso.

Mateyu 13: 44-52

13:44 Ufumu wakumwamba uli ngati chuma chobisika m’munda. Munthu akachipeza, amabisa, ndi, chifukwa cha chisangalalo chake, amapita nagulitsa zonse ali nazo, ndipo agula munda umenewo.

13:45 Apanso, Ufumu wa Kumwamba uli wofanana ndi wamalonda wofunafuna ngale zabwino.

13:46 Ndapeza ngale imodzi yamtengo wapatali, anamuka nagulitsa zonse anali nazo, ndipo adagula.

13:47 Apanso, Ufumu wa Kumwamba uli ngati khoka loponyedwa m’nyanja, amene amasonkhanitsa pamodzi mitundu yonse ya nsomba.

13:48 Pamene wadzazidwa, kuijambula ndi kukhala m'mphepete mwa nyanja, adasankha zabwino m'zotengera, koma zoipa adazitaya.

13:49 Chomwecho kudzakhala pa chimaliziro cha nthawi. Angelo adzapita nalekanitsa oipa pakati pa olungama.

13:50 Ndipo adzawaponya m'ng'anjo yamoto, kumene kudzakhala kulira ndi kukukuta mano.

13:51 Kodi mwamvetsa zinthu zonsezi??” Iwo adanena kwa Iye, “Inde.”

13:52 Iye adati kwa iwo, “Chotero, mlembi aliyense wophunzitsidwa bwino za Ufumu wa Kumwamba, ali ngati mwamuna, tate wa banja, amene amapereka m’nkhokwe yake zatsopano ndi zakale.”
