Yesaya 49: 1-6

49:1	Khalani tcheru, inu zilumba, ndipo mvetserani mwatcheru, inu anthu akutali. Yehova wandiitana ine kuchokera m’mimba; kuyambira m’mimba mwa amayi anga, wakumbukira dzina langa.
49:2	Ndipo waika pakamwa panga ngati lupanga lakuthwa. Mu mthunzi wa dzanja lake, wanditeteza. Ndipo wandisankha kukhala muvi wosankhika. M'mimba mwake, wandibisa.
49:3	Ndipo wanena kwa ine: “Iwe ndiwe mtumiki wanga, Israeli. Pakuti mwa inu, ndidzadzitamandira.”
49:4	Ndipo ine ndinati: “Ndayesetsa kuchita zinthu zopanda pake. ndatha mphamvu zanga popanda cholinga ndi pachabe. Choncho, chiweruzo changa chili ndi Yehova, ndipo ntchito yanga ili ndi Mulungu wanga.”
49:5	Ndipo tsopano, atero Yehova, amene anandiumba kuyambira m’mimba kukhala mtumiki wake, kuti ndibwezere Yakobo kwa iye, pakuti Israyeli sadzasonkhanitsidwa pamodzi, koma ndalemekezedwa pamaso pa Yehova, ndipo Mulungu wanga wakhala mphamvu yanga,
49:6	ndipo watero: “Ndi chinthu chaching’ono kuti ukhale mtumiki wanga + kuti uutse mafuko a Yakobo, ndi kuti atembenuke nsenga za Israeli. Taonani!, Ndakupatsa iwe kuunika kwa amitundu, kuti mukhale chipulumutso changa, mpaka kumalekezero a dziko lapansi.”

The Acts of Apostles 13: 22-26

13:22	Ndipo atamuchotsa iye, anawautsira iwo mfumu Davide. Ndi kupereka umboni za iye, adatero, ‘Ndapeza Davide, mwana wa Jese, kukhala mwamuna monga mwa mtima wanga, amene adzachita zonse zimene ndifuna.’
13:23	Kuchokera kwa ana ake, malinga ndi Lonjezo, Mulungu wabweretsa Yesu Mpulumutsi kwa Israeli.
13:24	Yohane anali kulalikira, pamaso pa kubwera kwake, ubatizo wakulapa kwa anthu onse a Israyeli.
13:25	Ndiye, pamene Yohane anamaliza maphunziro ake, iye anali kunena: ‘Ine sindine amene mumanditenga kukhala. Pakuti taonani, wina amafika pambuyo panga, amene sindiyenera kumasula nsapato za mapazi ake.
13:26	Abale olemekezeka, ana a fuko la Abrahamu, ndi amene akuopa Mulungu mwa inu, ndi kwa inu Mau a chipulumutso ichi atumizidwa.

Uthenga Wopatulika Malinga ndi Luka 1: 57-66, 80

1:57Now the time for Elizabeth to give birth arrived, and she brought forth a son.

1:58And her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had magnified his mercy with her, and so they congratulated her.

1:59Ndipo izo zinachitika, on the eighth day, they arrived to circumcise the boy, and they called him by his father’s name, Zekariya.

1:60Ndipo poyankha, his mother said: “Not so. M'malo mwake, he shall be called John.”

1:61Ndipo adati kwa iye, “But there is no one among your relatives who is called by that name.”

1:62Then they made signs to his father, as to what he wanted him to be called.

1:63And requesting a writing tablet, iye analemba, kunena: “His name is John.” And they all wondered.

1:64Ndiye, at once, his mouth was opened, and his tongue loosened, and he spoke, kudalitsa Mulungu.

1:65And fear fell upon all of their neighbors. And all these words were made known throughout all the hill country of Judea.

1:66And all those who heard it stored it up in their heart, kunena: “What do you think this boy will be?” And indeed, the hand of the Lord was with him.

1:80And the child grew, and he was strengthened in spirit. And he was in the wilderness, until the day of his manifestation to Israel.
