63:16	Pakuti inu ndinu Atate wathu, ndipo Abrahamu sanatidziwa ife, ndipo Israyeli sanatidziwa. Inu ndinu Atate wathu, O Ambuye Muomboli wathu. Dzina lanu ndi loposa mibadwo yonse.
63:17	N’chifukwa chiyani mwatilola kusokera kusiya njira zanu?, O Ambuye? Bwanji mwaumitsa mitima yathu?, kuti tisakuopeni? Bwererani, chifukwa cha akapolo anu, mafuko a cholowa chanu.
63:19	Takhala monga momwe tinaliri pachiyambi, pamene simunatilamulire, ndi pamene sitinatchedwa dzina lanu.

64:2	Iwo akanasungunuka, ngati wotenthedwa ndi moto. Madziwo akanayaka ndi moto, kuti dzina lanu lidziwike kwa adani anu, kuti mitundu ya anthu idzagwedezeke pamaso panu.
64:3	Pamene mudzachita zozizwitsa, sitingathe kulimbana nawo. Inu munatsika, ndi mapiri anasefukira pamaso panu.
64:4	Kuyambira zaka zapitazo, sanamve, Ndipo sadazindikire ndi makutu. Kupatula inu, O Mulungu!, diso silinawone zimene mwakonzera iwo amene akukuyembekezerani.
64:5	Mwakumana ndi amene akusangalala kuchita chilungamo. Mwa njira zanu, adzakukumbukirani. Taonani!, mwakwiya, pakuti tachimwa. Mu izi, tapitiliza, koma tidzapulumuka.
64:6	Ndipo ife tonse takhala ngati odetsedwa. Ndipo maweruzo athu onse ali ngati nsanza ya kusamba. Ndipo ife tonse tagwa, ngati tsamba. Ndipo mphulupulu zathu zatinyamula, ngati mphepo.
64:7	Palibe amene aitana pa dzina lanu, amene adzuka nakugwirani mwamphamvu. Mwatibisira nkhope yanu, ndipo mwatiphwanya ndi dzanja la mphulupulu zathu.

The First Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians 1: 3-9

1:3	Chisomo ndi mtendere zochokera kwa Mulungu Atate wathu ndi Ambuye Yesu Khristu zikhale ndi inu.
1:4	I give thanks to my God continuously for you because of the grace of God that has been given to you in Christ Jesus.
1:5	By that grace, m’zinthu zonse, you have become wealthy in him, in every word and in all knowledge.
1:6	Ndipo kenako, the testimony of Christ has been strengthened in you.
1:7	Mwa njira iyi, nothing is lacking to you in any grace, as you await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:8	Ndipo iye, nawonso, will strengthen you, ngakhale mpaka kumapeto, without guilt, until the day of the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9	God is faithful. Through him, you have been called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

13:33	Take heed, khalani maso, and pray. For you do not know when the time may be.
13:34	It is like a man who, setting out on a sojourn, left behind his house, and gave his servants authority over every work, and instructed the doorkeeper to stand watch.
13:35	Choncho, khalani maso, for you do not know when the lord of the house may arrive: in the evening, or in the middle of the night, or at first light, or in the morning.
13:36	Apo ayi, when he will have arrived unexpectedly, he may find you sleeping.
13:37	But what I say to you, I say to all: Be vigilant.”
