Ngati Mulungu Ndi Wabwino, Chifukwa Chake Pali Kuvutika?

Mulungu sanalenge munthu kuti azivutika.

Iye analenga Adamu ndi Hava, makolo athu oyamba, kukhala wosagonjetsedwa ndi zowawa ndi imfa.

Mazunzo anaitanidwa ku dziko pamene iwo anakana Mulungu. M’lingaliro limenelo, masautso ndi chilengedwe osati cha Mulungu koma cha munthu, kapena, osachepera, zotsatira za zochita za Munthu.

Izi ndizochitika mu Kugwa kwa Munthu: Mulungu anatilola kutaya chimwemwe cha padziko lapansi cha Edeni kuti chikhalepo kwa ife, kupyolera mu nsembe ya Mwana Wake, ulemerero wapamwamba wa Kumwamba.

Kupemphera m’munda wa Getsemane usiku umene anamangidwa, Yesu anatipatsa chitsanzo chabwino kwambiri cha mmene tiyenera kuchitira tikakumana ndi mavuto. Poyamba adapempha Atate kuti amuchotsere zowawazo. Kenako anawonjezera, “Osati kufuna kwanga, koma wanu, zichitike” (Luka 22:42).

Chithunzi Chachikulu

Kupemphera pempheroli kumafuna kudalira kwambiri ubwino wa Mulungu: kuti amafuna kuti tizisangalala kwambiri kuposa mmene timachitira komanso kuti amadziwadi zimene zili zabwino kwa ife. Kuti tidziwe, m'malo mwake, kuti Mulungu alibe chikondi kaamba ka kulola kuvutika ndiko kumuweruza ndi nzeru zathu zopereŵera zaumunthu. “Unali kuti pamene ndinaika maziko a dziko lapansi?” Akhoza kutifunsa. "Ndiuzeni, ngati mukumvetsa” (Job 38:4). Sitingathe kuona zonse zimene Mulungu amaona. Sitingathe kumvetsa njira zonse zobisika zimene Iye amagwiritsira ntchito mikhalidwe yovuta kuwongolera mitima ya ana ake kulapa ndi kukwaniritsa mwa ife ungwiro wauzimu.. Pomwe timakonda kulakwitsa powona moyo uno ngati wabwino kwambiri, Mulungu amaona chithunzi chonse, chithunzi chamuyaya. Iye moyenerera amamvetsa ubwino wathu womalizira kukhala cholinga chimene anatilengera: kukhala ndi moyo ndi kukondwera naye kwamuyaya Kumwamba.

Kuti tifike pamaso pa Mulungu Kumwamba timafunika kusandulika: kuti umunthu wathu wakugwa ukhale woyera; pakuti Lemba limati, Palibe chodetsedwa chidzalowa [Kumwamba]” (onani Bukhu la Chivumbulutso 21:27). (Zambiri pamutuwu, chonde onani tsamba lathu Purigatoriyo, Kukhululuka & Zotsatira zake.

Kuyeretsedwa kumeneku kumaphatikizapo kuvutika. “Ngakhale njere ya tirigu siigwa m’nthaka ndi kufa,” akutero Yesu, “Imakhala yokha; koma ngati ifa, umabala zipatso zambiri. Iye amene akonda moyo wake autaya;, ndipo iye wakudana ndi moyo wake m’dziko lino lapansi adzausungira ku moyo wosatha” (Yohane 12:24-25).

N’zowawa kusiya kugwirizana kwambiri ndi zinthu za m’dzikoli, koma mphotho imene imatiyembekezera m’dziko likudzalo ndiyofunika mtengo wake. Mwana wosabadwayo angakonde kukhalabe m’chibadwidwe cha amayi ake. Wakhala kumeneko kwa miyezi isanu ndi inayi; ndicho chenicheni chokhacho chomwe akudziwa. Kuchotsedwa pamalo abwinowa ndi kubweretsa kuunika kwa dziko lapansi ndi zowawa. Komabe ndani wa ife amanong'oneza bondo, kapena ngakhale kukumbukira, ululu wa kubadwa kwake, kulowa kwake m’dziko lino?

Koposa momwe zowawa zathu zapadziko lapansi sizidzatikhudza ife tikalowa mu zenizeni za Kumwamba. Mosasamala kanthu za masautso amene tingakhale tikupirira nawo tsopano, kapena akhoza kupirira m’tsogolo, timatonthozedwa podziŵa kuti zowawa za moyo uno ndi za kanthaŵi—kuti iwo, nawonso, tsiku lidzapita—ndi kuti chisangalalo cha Kumwamba ndi chokwanira ndi chamuyaya.

Bukhu la Chivumbulutso (21:4) akuti, “[Mulungu] adzawapukutira misozi yonse kuichotsa pamaso pawo, ndipo sipadzakhalanso imfa, sipadzakhala maliro, kapena kulira, kapena kuwawa;, pakuti zoyambazo zapita. Ndipo umu ndi momwe Mulungu alili wokhoza kupirira kutiona, Ana ake okondedwa, kuvutika pano kwa kanthawi padziko lapansi. Kuchokera pamalingaliro Ake, mazunzo athu a padziko lapansi amapita m’kuphethira kwa diso, pamene tikukhala ndi Iye Kumwamba, chisangalalo chathu, adzakhala opanda mapeto.

Chikhulupiriro Chachikristu ndi chosiyana ndi zipembedzo zina zonse chifukwa chakuti chokha chimaphunzitsa kuti Mulungu anakhala munthu–mmodzi wa ife–kuvutika ndi kufa athu machimo. “[H]anavulazidwa chifukwa cha zolakwa zathu,” akutero mneneri Yesaya (53:5), “Iye anatunduzidwa chifukwa cha mphulupulu zathu; pa Iye padali chilango Chotipulumutsa, ndipo ndi mikwingwirima yake ife tachiritsidwa.”

Kumbukirani, kuti Yesu, kukhala Mulungu, anali (ndipo ndi) opanda uchimo, koma ake kuvutika kunali koopsa m'malo mwathu, ndi ife, mtundu wa anthu, anaomboledwa kupyolera mu Masautso a Yesu Khristu.

N’zoona kuti kuvutika kwake m’malo mwathu sikunachotse zowawa zonse m’miyoyo yathu. M'malo mwake, monga mtumwi Paulo analemba m’buku lake Kalata kwa Afilipi (1:29), “Kwapatsidwa kwa inu kuti chifukwa cha Khristu musamangokhulupirira mwa iye, komanso muzunzike chifukwa cha iye.

Choncho, kudzera m'mayesero athu timayandikiridwa pafupi kwambiri ndi Khristu ndikubwera ngakhale kugawana nawo mu ulemerero wake (onani za Paulo Kalata Yachiwiri kwa Akorinto, 1:5). Yesu akufanana kwambiri ndi amene akuvutika kotero kuti wovutikayo amakhala chifaniziro chamoyo cha Iye. Mayi Teresa nthawi zambiri ankalankhula za kuona pankhope za anthu ovutikawo, amene anawatenga m’ngalande za Calcutta, nkhope yomweyo ya Yesu.

Choncho, Chilakolako cha Khristu sichinachotse zowawa zathu, koma adasandulika. Monga Papa Yohane Paulo Wamkulu analemba,“Mu Mtanda wa Khristu sikuti Chiombolo chimakwaniritsidwa kudzera mu zowawa zokha, komanso kuzunzika kwa anthu kumene kwaomboledwa” (Kuthetsa ululu 19).

Mazunzo amene Mulungu amalola kubwera m’miyoyo yathu, pamene anaperekedwa mogwirizana ndi mazunzo a Khristu pa Mtanda, kutenga khalidwe la chiwombolo ndi kuperekedwa kwa Mulungu ku chipulumutso cha miyoyo. Kwa ife, ndiye, kuvutika sikuli kopanda cholinga; modabwitsa, ndi njira yopezera chisomo cha Mulungu. Ululu ndi chida chomwe Mulungu angatipangitse kuti tiyeretsedwe, njira yodulira uzimu wina anganene.

The Kalata yopita kwa Ahebri (5:8) akutiuza Yesu, Iyemwini,

“anaphunzira kumvera mwa zowawa zake.” Ndipo kalatayo ikupitiriza, “Pakuti Yehova alanga iye amene amkonda, ndipo amalanga mwana aliyense amene amlandira. Ndi chifukwa cha chilango chimene muyenera kupirira. Mulungu akutengani ngati ana; pakuti ali mwana wanji amene atate wake samulanga? … [Atate] amatilanga kaamba ka ubwino wathu, kuti tikalandire nawo chiyero chake. Pakalipano chilango chonse chikuwoneka chowawa osati chosangalatsa; pambuyo pake, chipereka chipatso cha mtendere, kwa iwo ozoloweretsedwa nacho, ndicho chilungamo.” (12:6-7, 10-11)

Kumvetsetsa lingaliro la kuzunzika kwa chiwombolo, Paulo Woyera anavomereza mu kalata yake kwa Akolose 1:24, “M’thupi langa ndikwaniritsa zopereŵera m’masautso a Kristu chifukwa cha thupi lake, umenewo ndi Mpingo.”

Izi sizikutanthauza, kumene, kuti Chilakolako cha Khristu chinali chosakwanira mwanjira iliyonse. Nsembe yake m'malo mwathu ili mwa iyo yokha yangwiro ndi yothandiza. Komabe, chifukwa cha Kukonda Kwake, Yesu akutiitana ife kuti tinyamule mtanda wathu ndi kumutsatira Iye; kupemphererana wina ndi mzake, motsanzira Iye, kupyolera mu pemphero ndi zowawa (onani Luka 9:23 ndi Paulo Kalata yoyamba kwa Timoteyo 2:1-3).

Mofananamo, mu Kalata yake Yoyamba (3:16), Yohane Woyera akulemba, “Mwa ichi timadziwa chikondi, kuti anapereka moyo wake chifukwa cha ife; ndipo ifenso tiyenera kupereka moyo wathu chifukwa cha abale.

“Iye wokhulupirira Ine adzachitanso ntchito zimene Ine ndikuchita,” akutero Yehova; “Ndipo adzachita zazikulu kuposa izi, chifukwa ndikupita kwa Atate” (Yohane 14:12). Choncho, Yesu amafuna kuti titenge nawo mbali pa ntchito ya chiombolo osati chifukwa chosowa koma chifukwa cha chikondi, mofanana ndi mmene atate wapadziko lapansi amawonekera kuloŵetsamo mwana wake m’zochita zake. Kupembedzera kwathu kwa wina ndi mzake, Komanso, imatengera kuyanjana kwapadera kwa Khristu ndi Mulungu yekha (onani Kalata Yoyamba ya Paulo kwa Timoteyo, kachiwiri, 2:5).

Kunena zowona, zonse zomwe timachita zimatengera zomwe Iye wachita ndipo sizingakhale zosatheka popanda izo. Monga Yesu ananena mu Yohane 15:5, “Ine ndine mpesa, inu ndinu nthambi. Iye amene akhala mwa Ine, ndipo ine mwa iye, iye amene abala chipatso chambiri, pakuti kopanda Ine simungathe kuchita kanthu. Choncho, Ndi kufunitsitsa kwathu kuzunzika chifukwa cha Iye komanso ndi Iye amene “akusowa,” kugwiritsa ntchito mawu a Paulo, mu zowawa za Khristu.

Kuitanira kutengamo mbali mu ntchito ya chiombolo ya Kristu mwa kugwirizanitsa zowawa zathu kwa Iye kuti tipulumutsidwe ndi chipulumutso cha ena ndithudi ndi chitonthozo chodabwitsa.. Saint Therese wa Lisieux analemba:

“Mdziko lapansi, podzuka m'mawa ndimaganiza zomwe zingachitike mwina zokondweretsa kapena zokhumudwitsa masana.; ndipo ngati ndidawoneratu zochitika zoyeserera ndidadzuka wokhumudwa. Tsopano ndi njira ina ndithu: Ndimaganizira mavuto ndi masautso amene amandiyembekezera, ndipo ndimadzuka mosangalala komanso kulimba mtima kwambiri ndikamawoneratu mipata yotsimikizira chikondi changa pa Yesu… . Kenako ndimapsompsona mtanda wanga ndikuugoneka mwachikondi pa pilo ndikuvala, ndipo ndinena kwa iye: ‘Yesu wanga, wagwira ntchito mokwanira ndi kulira kokwanira pa zaka makumi atatu ndi zitatu za moyo wako padziko lapansi losauka. Pumula tsopano. … Nthawi yanga ndi kuvutika ndi kumenyana’” (Uphungu ndi Zikumbutso).

Pamene kuzunzika mwa Ambuye Yesu ndi chiyembekezo–ngakhale zowawa–masautso popanda Iye ndi owawa ndi opanda pake.

Zikatero, kuvutika kulibe phindu, ndipo dziko likuthawa kwa izo–kufunafuna kupewa chilichonse–kapena kumuimba mlandu munthuyo chifukwa cha tsoka lake. Mwachitsanzo, some see pain and want as punishments meted out by God upon the faithless, or suffering and eventual death from, kunena, lung cancer as brought on by a personal lack of faith. Pamenepo, there are people who believe that God intends for every believer to live completely free from sickness and disease; it is up to the person to decide or that Being poor is a sin when God promises prosperity.

Baibulo, kumene, completely refutes this perspective any number of times, including the Sermon of the Mount in Mateyu 5, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied,” ndi Luka 6:20, e.g., “Blessed are you poor …,” and “Woe to you that are rich” (Luka 6:24; cf. Mateyu 6:19-21; ndi Kalata ya James 2:5).

Job, whom the Bible describes as “a blameless and upright man” (Job 2:3), suffered illness, the death of loved ones, and the loss of his possessions.

Namwali Mariya, who was sinless (Luka 1:28), suffered rejection, homelessness, persecution, and the loss of Her Son—“a sword shall pierce your own soul also,” Simeon had revealed to her (Luka 2:35).

John the Baptist, the Precursor of Jesus, “wore a garment of camel’s hair” and ate “locusts and wild honey” (Mateyu 3:4). Timothy suffered from chronic stomach ailments (onani za Paulo Kalata yoyamba kwa Timoteyo 5:23); and Paul had to leave his co-worker, Trophimus, behind due to illness (see Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy 4:20).

Komanso, when the Saint Peter tempted Jesus to forgo the Passion, Yesu anayankha, “Get behind me, Satana! Ndinu cholepheretsa kwa ine; pakuti simuli kumbali ya Mulungu, but of men” (Mateyu 16:23).

Zoonadi, any attempt to obtain glory while bypassing the Cross is demonic in nature (cf. Tim Staples, quoting Fulton J. Sheen, “Catholic Answers Live” radio program [February 24, 2004]; available at catholic.com).

Near the end of his life, the same Peter, who had once been rebuked by Jesus for wanting Him to avoid suffering, declared to the faithful:

“In this [heavenly inheritance] you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold which though perishable is tested by fire, may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Peter’s Kalata Yoyamba 1:6-7)

Choncho, Is It Worth It?

To answer that question, we can turn to Saint Paul in his Letter to the Romans 8:18: “I consider that the sufferings of this present time re not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

In that regard, we must never lose sight of the prize: that one day, by the grace of God, each of us here will see the Lord Jesus Christ in His Kingdom; behold His luminous face; hear His angelic voice; and kiss His sacred hands and feet, wounded for our sake. Till that day, we can proclaim like Saint Francis of Assisi in The Way of the Cross, “We adore You, O Khristu, and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Amene.”
