The Acts of the Apostles 28: 16-20, 30-31
28:16 | A keď sme prišli do Ríma, Paul dostal povolenie zostať sám, s vojakom, ktorý ho stráži. |
28:17 | A po treťom dni, zvolal vodcov Židov. A keď sa zišli, povedal im: „Vznešení bratia, Neurobil som nič proti ľuďom, ani proti zvykom otcov, no bol som vydaný ako väzeň z Jeruzalema do rúk Rimanov. |
28:30 | Potom zostal celé dva roky vo svojom vlastnom prenajatom byte. A prijal všetkých, ktorí k nemu vošli, |
The Conclusion of the Holy Gospel of John: 21: 20-25
21:20 | Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, the one who also had leaned on his chest at supper and said, „Pane, who is it who shall betray you?“ |
21:21 | Preto, when Peter had seen him, he said to Jesus, „Pane, but what about this one?“ |
21:22 | Ježiš mu povedal: “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow me.” |
21:23 | Preto, the saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?“ |
21:24 | This is the same disciple who offers testimony about these things, and who has written these things. And we know that his testimony is true. |
21:25 | Now there are also many other things that Jesus did, ktoré, if each of these were written down, the world itself, I suppose, would not be able to contain the books that would be written. |
